ROUNDUP: Kirtley sends Sunrise Mountain boys past Bulldogs

Jovon Kirtley tallied 13 points Tuesday, including a key layup with 17 seconds left, to lead Sunrise Mountain’s boys basketball team to a 47-44 win over Virgin Valley in Mesquite.
Shmarlio Tolliver and Zane Gibbs each supplied 11 points for the Miners, who outscored Virgin Valley 13-10 in the fourth quarter.
Tyson Teerlink scored 22 points, and Garrett Leavitt had 11 points to lead the Bulldogs.
Bishop Gorman 79, Centennial 71 — At Centennial, Noah Robotham scored 22 points, and the Gaels rallied from a 61-58 deficit after three quarters to top the Bulldogs.
Rashad Muhammad added 17 points, and Stephen Zimmerman had 15 points for Gorman.
Marcus Allen tallied 25 points, and Malcolm Allen added 23 points for Centennial.
Mojave 50, Cheyenne 48 — At Mojave, Anthony Chapple had 15 points, and the Rattlers battled back from a 37-34 deficit after three quarters to nip the Desert Shields.
Jai’Angelis Stevenson added 14 points for Mojave, which made 1 of 2 free throws with 2 seconds left and held on as Cheyenne hit the front of the rim on a full-court shot.
Stephen Miller and Edward Shaw each had 11 points for Cheyenne.
Legacy 74, Bonanza 47 — At Legacy, Donavon Gray scored 18 points, and Jacob Rainey came off the bench to score 12 points to help the Longhorns roll past the Bengals.
Ramell Plair and Todd Murdock added 10 points apiece for Legacy, which outscored Bonanza 29-12 in the second quarter.
Rio Justice Chandler tallied 20 points for Bonanza.
Cimarron-Memorial 90, Desert Oasis 45 — At Cimarron, Tyler Willinsky posted 11 points and 10 rebounds to help the Spartans roll past the Diamondbacks.
Joe McKellar had 12 points, and teammate Amani Gill added 10 points and 11 rebounds for Cimarron.
J.C. Broussard added nine points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Spartans.
Kodi Leslie led Desert Oasis with 11 points.
Clark 67, Western 22 — At Clark, Diontae Jones scored 14 points, and teammates Sir Washington and Malcolm Davis each supplied 12 points to lead the Chargers in a rout over the Warriors.
Jordan Turner added 10 points for Clark, which raced to a 19-1 first-quarter lead.
Darion Murray led Western with eight points.
Faith Lutheran 60, Pahrump Valley 28 — At Faith Lutheran, Austin Ortwein scored 11 points to lead 12 scorers, as the Crusaders downed the Trojans.
D’Khari Hicks had eight points, and teammates Brenden Meyer and Clayton Holthaus each supplied seven points for Faith Lutheran.
Devontae Brown and Dalton Beighley each had seven points to lead Pahrump.
Chaparral 63, Tech 30 — At Chaparral, Paul Chitongo scored 13 points, and Tyree McNeal complied 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists as the Cowboys rolled to an easy win over the Roadrunners.
Patrick Savoy added nine points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots for Chaparral, which outscored Tech 21-4 in the second quarter and led 34-13 at halftime.
Bryan Catenza scored seven points for Tech.
Boulder City 52, Moapa Valley 34 — At Overton, Kaleb Bailey scored 16 of his 25 points in the second half to help the Eagles pull away from the Pirates.
Michael Kelso added 10 points for Boulder City, which led only 18-16 at the half.
Bunker Wimer led Moapa Valley with eight points.
Lake Mead 81, Calvary Chapel 63 — At Lake Mead, Justin Yamzon poured in 43 points, and the Eagles used a 37-16 halftime lead to pull away from the Lions.
Elijah Pitman scored 10 points, and Caleb Pitman tallied nine points and 12 rebounds for Lake Mead, which got 12 rebounds, six points, and five blocks from Wesley Brule.
Drew Hammond led Calvary Chapel with 17 points, and teammate A.J. Davis added 11 points.
Lincoln County 87, Agassi Prep 66 — At Panaca, Chandler Katschke had 30 points and 10 rebounds to help the Lynx beat the Stars.
Ryan Rippetoe helped Lincoln County with 21 points and 15 rebounds, and teammate Seth Culverwell added 16 points and five assists. Preston Avery scored 10 points for Lincoln County.
Steven Jones led Agassi Prep with 23 points.
Needles 57, Mountain View 43 — At Needles, Calif., Wyatt Upshaw had 16 points to help the Mustangs beat the Saints.
Phillip Chavez added 13 points for Needles, which broke open a close game in the third quarter.
T.J. Kissinger led Mountain View with 13 points.
Adelson School 57, Sandy Valley 21 — At Adelson School, Sean Perry had 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Lions past the Sidewinders.
Rom Izkovich helped Adelson School with 13 points, and teammate Robert Blackwell added 12 points.
Jerremy Barnes led Sandy Valley with seven points.
Spring Mountain 74, Indian Springs 29 — At Indian Springs, Anthony Coleman had 21 points to help the Eagles beat the Thunderbirds.
William Thompson had 12 points, and Roemello Tatum scored 11 for Spring Mountain, which led 30-6 at the half.
Talon Mike led Indian Springs with 11 points.
