ROUNDUP: Leavitt, Virgin Valley boys down Tech

Garrett Leavitt drained five 3-pointers and had 19 points Thursday to help Virgin Valley’s boys basketball team to a 58-44 victory at Tech.

DeVonte Milligan added 12 points, and Tyson Teerlink contributed 11 points for the Bulldogs, who used a 29-16 halftime lead to pull away.

Josh West had 15 points, and Elijah Robertson had 10 points to lead the Roadrunners.

Centennial 76, Cimarron-Memorial 58 — At Centennial, Marcus Allen scored 26 points, including 12 points in the fourth quarter, to lead the Bulldogs over the Spartans.

Malcolm Allen added 15 points, and Marcus Berkley supplied 14 points for Centennial. Khalil

Thompson had 12 points, including an 8-for-8 effort from the free-throw line, for the Bulldogs.

J.C. Broussard scored 10 points to lead Cimarron, which got nine points apiece from Donald Hardaway and Joe McKellar.

Chaparral 74, Sunrise Mountain 58 — At Chaparral, Jared Celestine scored 23 points to power the Cowboys past the Miners.

Patrick Savoy had 16 points, and Tyree McNeal supplied 14 points for Chaparral, which pulled away thanks to a 24-14 third-quarter run. Paul Chitongo scored 10 for Chaparral.

Jovon Kirtley scored 18 points, and Zane Gibbs contributed 17 points for Sunrise Mountain.

Mojave 67, Western 39 — At Mojave, Darryl Adams had 12 points, and the Rattlers cruised past the Warriors.

Jahlonn Williams added 10 points for Mojave, which led 33-16 at the half.

Travis Dunn paced Western with 13 points.

Legacy 88, Desert Oasis 49 — At Legacy, Benjie Harris led four double-figure scorers with 15 points as the Longhorns blitzed the Diamondbacks.

Ramell Plair added 14 points, and Todd Murdock scored 13 for Legacy, which also got 12 points from Fred Porter.

Kodi Leslie and Noah Jefferson each had 10 points for Desert Oasis.

Bishop Gorman 65, Bonanza 20 — At Gorman, Stephen Zimmerman had 10 points and 10 rebounds to power the Gaels past the Bengals.

Trey Kennedy supplied 10 points and six steals, and Chase Jeter added 10 points for Gorman, which got seven assists from Noah Robotham.

Rio Justice Chandler led Bonanza with nine points.

Desert Pines 73, Moapa Valley 22 — At Desert Pines, Donavin Wright scored 25 points, and Re’meake Keith added 18 points and 17 rebounds as the Jaguars routed the Pirates.

Justin Hughes led Moapa Valley with seven points.

Clark 67, Pahrump Valley 13 — At Clark, Sherron Wilson had 10 points as the Chargers breezed to an easy win over the Trojans.

Dickenzy Santil added eight points for Clark, which used a 24-0 first-quarter spurt to pull away. The Chargers had 12 players score, including nine with at least five points.

Dalton Beighley led Pahrump with nine points.
