ROUNDUP: Leibowitz’s bucket gives The Meadows win over Calvary Chapel

Brett Leibowitz scored with two seconds left to give The Meadows boys team a 62-61 road win over Calvary Chapel on Tuesday night.
The Meadows led for most of the game, but Calvary Chapel had taken a 61-60 lead on a bucket by Dario Rahming.
Leibowitz then took a pass from Austin Brown and hit a layup to win the game.
Richard Martinez had 17 points and Garrett Gosse 16 for the Mustangs.
Rahming led the Lions with 21 points. Joel Feigler added 13 points for Calvary Chapel.
Findlay Prep 88, Lake Mead 52 — At Henderson International, the Pilots made quick work of the defending Class 1A state champions to improve to 17-0.
Findlay Prep, which remained No. 2 Tuesday in USA Today’s national Super 25 poll, led 21-8 entering the second quarter.
Texas signee Avery Bradley scored 26 points to lead the Pilots, who also got 18 from Victor Rudd and 14 from Cory Joseph.
De’Quan Thompson paced Lake Mead with 18 points. Jeffrey Newton added 11 and Landon Littlefield 10 for the Eagles. Eight of Lake Mead’s 15 field goals were 3-pointers.
GIRLS
White Pine 56, West Wendover 43 — At West Wendover, the Bobcats outscored the Wolverines 16-7 in the second quarter and ran away with the Class 2A Southern League win.
Danika Sharp scored a game-high 27 points to lead West Wendover.
Calvary Chapel 53, The Meadows 15 — At Calvary Chapel, Sammie Mann scored 20 points to lead the Lions to the blowout win.
Anna Duerden added 13 points and eight steals for Calvary Chapel, and teammate Bri Ridley had 10 points and six rebounds.
Kimi Sharma scored 11 of the 15 points for the Mustangs, who had only three players score.
