ROUNDUP: Liberty reaches title game of Torrey Pines Invitational

Kenneth Peters scored 20 points to lead Liberty to a 64-54 win over El Toro (Calif.) on Saturday in the Torrey Pines Invitational in San Diego.

The win moved the Patriots into the championship game of the Senator’s Cup.

Milos Knezevic added 14 points for Liberty, which led 39-22 at the half.

Bishop Gorman 85, Centennial (Ore.) 59 — At the Energy Classic in Gillette, Wyo., Kylel Coleman had 18 points, and Anson Winder had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Gaels to the win.

Gorman went on a 21-9 run in the second quarter to take a 47-29 lead.

Shabazz Muhammad and John Loyd each added 14 points, and Czar Robotham had eight assists for the Gaels.

Gorman plays Chadron (Neb.) at 4 p.m. today.

Cimarron-Memorial 69, Chino Valley (Ariz.) 55 — At the Bradshaw Mountain Holiday Classic in Prescott, Ariz., Kevin Olekaibe scored 24 points to lead the Spartans.

Brayden Quackenbush added 21 points, including four 3-pointers. Dale Puckett scored 13 for Cimarron.

Cimarron-Memorial 53, Prescott (Ariz.) 27 — At the Bradshaw Mountain Holiday Classic in Prescott, Ariz., the Spartans held Prescott to nine field goals to advance.

Puckett had 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead Cimarron. Quackenbush added 12 points and Olekaibe 11 for the Spartans.

Cimarron plays Paradise Valley (Ariz.) at 4:15 p.m. today, and Burbank (Calif.) at 9:05.

Crespi (Calif.) 69, Foothill 55 — At the Desert Heat Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., Crespi had a huge advantage at the free-throw line to win.

Crepsi was 32-for-37 at the line. The Falcons went 10-for-20.

Evan Roquemore had 17 points and Kadeem Minor 15 for Foothill. The Falcons play Patriot (Calif.) at 11:30 a.m. today.
