ROUNDUP: Loyd, Winder spark Gaels at MLK Inland Invitational

John Loyd poured in 21 points, and Anson Winder had 16 points and 10 rebounds to help Bishop Gorman defeat West Valley (Calif.) 85-72 in the Martin Luther King Inland Invitational on Monday at Riverside, Calif.
Shabazz Muhammad added 17 points and Kylel Coleman 16 for the Gaels, who grabbed a 44-34 halftime lead and didn’t look back.
Eric Lawton led West Valley with 27 points. Joe Burton added 15.
Colony (Calif.) 68, Cheyenne 66 — At Riverside, Calif., Colony made two free throws in the final two seconds to beat the Desert Shields in the Inland Invitational.
Elijah Johnson led Cheyenne with 19 points. Jaylen Henry added 15, and J’Quon Wroten and Demetric Williams had 10 each.
Eisenhower (Ill.) 54, Faith Lutheran 31 — At Faith Lutheran, Eisenhower used a 34-8 run in the middle two quarters to put away the Crusaders.
Taylor Jantz led Faith Lutheran with seven points. Tory Minnifield paced Eisenhower with 13 points.
