Roundup: Martell Williams, Leandrew Menefee spark Silverado to win

Martell Williams and Leandrew Menefee each had a double-double Tuesday to help host Silverado’s boys basketball team to a 72-54 win over Sierra Vista.

Williams had 28 points and 12 rebounds, and Menefee added 26 points and 14 rebounds for the Skyhawks.

Volton Mesic scored 22 points for the Mountain Lions, and teammate Isaiah Veal scored 13 points.

Legacy 69, Eldorado 58 — At Eldorado, Shamir Chambers scored 16 points to lead 10 scorers as the Longhorns defeated the Sundevils.

Andrew Garcia had 15 points, and Emmanuel Austin added 14 points for Legacy, which jumped out to a 42-26 halftime advantage.

E’Marrion Hines scored 15 points, and teammate Jonathan Thomas had 12 points to lead Eldorado.

Mojave 61, Western 42 — At Mojave, Isaiah Harper and Chris Jackson scored 13 points apiece as the Rattlers topped the Warriors.

Dante Ingram added nine points for Mojave, which trailed 16-14 after one quarter but outscored Western 19-6 in the second quarter.

Dionte Thomas scored 11 points, and Zyann Carranza-Ibarra added 10 points for Western.

Las Vegas 72, Rancho 50 — At Rancho, Isaiah Sem and Fernando Carmona each scored 14 points to lead a balanced attack as the Wildcats downed the Rams.

Tavionte Jackson and Robel Negasi scored 10 points each for Las Vegas.

Rancho’s James Brown led all scorers with 18 points, and teammate Ta’Quawn Dillon-Hodges scored 14 points.

Spring Valley 85, Durango 68 — At Spring Valley, Chazmon Penro scored 20 points to lead the Grizzlies by the Trailblazers.

Michael Martin added 18 points, and Frank Bartley scored 16 points for Spring Valley, which got 14 points from A’mari Jones.

Jahlani Blair added eight points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists for the Grizzlies.

Durango’s Kendrick Gilbert led all scorers with 30 points. Anthony Hunter added 15 points, and Keshon Gilbert scored 13 for the Trailblazers.

Del Sol 52, Pahrump Valley 44 — At Pahrump, Brian Flores scored 25 points to help power the Dragons over the Trojans.

Tylan McNeal added 10 points for Del Sol, which led 11-4 after the first quarter.

Brayden Severt scored 24 points for Pahrump.

Democracy Prep 85, Somerset-Losee 47 — At Somerset-Losee, Najeeb Muhammad scored 28 points to help the Blue Knights down the Lions.

Justous Harvey hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 20 points, and teammate Daniel Plumer also scored 20 for Democracy Prep, which led 24-8 after one quarter. Chancellor Johnson had 10 points for the Blue Knights.

Ray’mon Daniels led Somerset-Losee with 20 points, and teammate Jayden Young scored 18.

Adelson School 57, Needles 48 — At Adelson School, Ore Inbar scored 19 points to help the Lions down the Mustangs.

Noah Stanigar tallied 13 points, and Zach Fiumara added 12 points for Adelson School, which led 28-26 at halftime.

Dawsen Yeager had 13 points, and Doogie Harvey scored 10 for Needles.

Lake Mead 47, Mountain View 38 — At Lake Mead, Donte Bristol scored 17 points as the Eagles downed the Saints.

Colson Madruga supplied 12 points and 14 rebounds for Lake Mead, which led 27-17 at the half.

Zack Wood scored 12 points to lead Mountain View.

Spring Mountain 66, Indian Springs 48 — At Indian Springs, Robert Arceneau scored 22 points to lead the Golden Eagles by the Thunderbirds.

Tyquan Woods added 12 points, and I’Shad Livingston scored 11 for Spring Mountain, which used a 16-6 third-quarter run to build a 45-35 lead.

Taylor Hickman and Neko Valdez each had 13 points for Indian Springs.

Word of Life 48, Sandy Valley 43 — At Sandy Valley, Jaiden Stuckey had 24 points to help the Eagles hold off the Sidewinders.

Tyler Jiles added 10 points for Word of Life.

Ramiro Solano-Sanchez paced Sandy Valley with 14 points. Justin Frondarina added 11 points, and Rian Cripe scored 10 for the Sidewinders.
