Roundup: Marvin Coleman leads Foothill past Spring Valley

Marvin Coleman scored 23 points to lead Foothill’s boys basketball team to an 84-65 home win over Spring Valley on Thursday night.

Caleb Stearman added 20 points, and Jace Roquemore and Dylan Hushaw each scored 11 points for the Falcons, who led 33-22 at halftime.

Jahlani Blair had 24 points to lead Spring Valley, and teammate James Webster scored 20.

Legacy 63, Shadow Ridge 42 — At Legacy, D’Eric Marlowe led all scorers with 23 points as the Longhorns trounced the Mustangs.

Jaylon Lee added 12 points for the Longhorns, who led 30-6 at the half.

Garin Macfarlane had 15 points for Shadow Ridge, and teammate Adan Espino scored 10.

Liberty 80, Valley 56 — At Valley, Cameron Burist scored 16 points to lead the Patriots past the Vikings.

Terrance Marigney had 14 points, Davion Ware added 13 points and Jordan Holt scored 11 for Liberty, which outscored Valley 27-14 in the third quarter to take control.

Oscar Burns and Tommy Anderson each scored 14 points to lead Valley.

Arbor View 78, Monument Valley (Ariz.) 38 — At Page, Arizona, Sevonyea Smith scored a team-high 16 points to help the Aggies down the Mustangs in the Lake Powell Holiday Shootout.

Larry Holmes had 11 points, and Comillion Smith added 10 points for Arbor View.

Mikendrick Yazzie scored 19 points to lead Monument Valley.

Faith Lutheran 67, Coconino (Ariz.) 37 — At Flagstaff, Arizona, Brevin Walter scored 17 points to lead the Crusaders past the Panthers in the Pepsi Holiday Tournament.

Dalton Kincaid had 10 points, and Parker Kanne added nine points for Faith Lutheran, which drained 10 3-pointers.

Tristan Wilson had eight points to pace Coconino.

Bonanza 75, Word of Life 40 — At Bonanza, Chase Hafen scored a team-high 21 points as the Bengals rolled past the Eagles.

Kadin Warner and Devin Hansbrough each added 10 points for Bonanza, which outscored Word of Life 42-13 in the second half.

Cheikou Kouyate (12 points), Isaac Lopez (11), and Jared House (10) led Word of Life.

Adelson School 59, Lake Mead 49 — At Adelson School, Ben Elharrar scored a game-high 24 points as the Lions took down the Eagles.

Miles Hagan had 11 points and 15 rebounds for Adelson School.

Kaiaokumulani Madela led Lake Mead with 14 points, and teammate Donte Bristol scored 13.

Spring Mountain 54, GV Christian 46 — At Indian Springs, the Eagles stormed to a 42-19 halftime lead before topping the Guardians.

Moses Valencia had 14 points, and Uriel Gutierrez scored 13 for GV Christian.

Liberty Baptist 60, Trinity 26 — At Liberty Baptist, Trevor Campbell had 15 points to lead the Knights over the Thunder.

Battle Mountain 44, Pahranagat Valley 39 — At Virginia City, Christian Figueroa had 16 points as the Longhorns defeated the Panthers in the Comstock Classic.

Culen Highbe led Pahranagat Valley with 13 points, and teammate Richard Lewis scored 11.

Coleville (Calif.) 56, Round Mountain 25 — At Virginia City, the Wolves routed the Knights in the Comstock Classic.
