ROUNDUP: Mathis powers Valley boys past Wildcats

Spencer Mathis scored 13 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter to help Valley’s boys basketball team rally for a 79-68 road win over Las Vegas on Friday.
The Vikings trailed 55-43 going into the fourth quarter, but outscored the Wildcats 36-13 to win.
Ryan Johnson added 24 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, for Valley.
Aziz Leeks led Las Vegas with 21 points, and teammate Re’Kwon Smith scored 16.
Canyon Springs 60, Green Valley 59 — At Canyon Springs, Shaquile Carr hit the winning shot as time expired to give the Pioneers the win over the Gators.
Chris Swanson scored 13 points and Gerad Davis added 11 points to lead Canyon Springs.
Tyler Roberts and Clyde Austin each scored 16 points, and Ikaika Pladera added 14 points for Green Valley.
Eldorado 85, Del Sol 79 — At Eldorado, Jayveon Brown scored a game-high 30 points to lead the Sundevils over the Dragons.
D.J. Billingsley and Quavion Thorns each added 11 points, and Darrion Daniels and D’Quan Crockett each scored 10 for Eldorado.
Tyrone Rouse scored 20 points to lead Del Sol. Jonross Juhas (16 points), Noah Spearman (15 points) and Debary Wade (12 points) also scored in double figures for the Dragons.
Silverado 56, Rancho 46 — At Rancho, Joe Baldi scored 17 of his game-high 28 points in the third quarter to help the Skyhawks rally past the Rams.
Amaar Clemente added 13 points for Silverado, which trailed 32-15 at halftime.
Joseph Ortiz led Rancho with 21 points. Jawaan James added 13 points for the Rams.
Arbor View 70, Sierra Vista 61 — At Arbor View, Charles Porter had 21 points and six rebounds to help the Aggies defeat the Mountain Lions.
Terrell Butler added 14 points and nine rebounds for Arbor View, which broke open a close game in the third quarter. Navonte Hill scored 13 for the Aggies.
Alec DeMarrias and DeJuan Smith each scored 14 points to lead Sierra Vista, which got 10 points from Apollo Corley.
Clark 58, Mojave 45 — At Clark, Diontae Jones scored 27 points to lead the Chargers past the Rattlers.
Colby Jackson had nine points to help Clark, which rallied after trailing 27-24 at halftime.
Marcus Hines led Mojave with 16 points, and teammate Anthony Chapple scored 15.
Palo Verde 65, Shadow Ridge 57 — At Palo Verde, Eris Winder scored 16 points to help the Panthers beat the Mustangs.
Joey Randazzo added 11 points for Palo Verde, which jumped ahead early.
Terell Bowden scored 13 points to lead Shadow Ridge. Kealyn Bulter and Jordin Williams each added 10 points for the Mustangs.
Durango 87, Spring Valley 61 — At Spring Valley, Tyler Watts scored a game-high 28 points as the Trailblazers beat the Grizzlies.
Da’jon Streeter had 14 points for Durango.
Taren Donaldson scored 13 points, and teammate Devante Moten added 12 points to lead Spring Valley.
Foothill 66, Liberty 34 — At Foothill, 13 players scored for the Falcons in a lopsided victory over the Patriots.
Austin Starr scored 12 points and Elijah Smith had six points, eight rebounds and six assists to lead Foothill.
Tech 55, Western 29 — At Tech, 12 players scored for the Roadrunnners as they dominated the Warriors.
Elijah Robertson scored nine points, and Alfonso Sanchez-Guzman added eight points for Tech.
Western’s Aldo Arpero led all scorers with 11 points.
Cheyenne 67, Pahrump Valley 29 — At Pahrump, Jas Coulson had 16 points as the Desert Shields routed the Trojans.
Billy Palmore led Pahrump with eight points. The Trojans trailed 26-4 after one quarter and 48-9 at the half.
Virgin Valley 41, Pahranagat Valley 34 — At Virgin Valley, Garrett Leavitt made four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 18 points to lead the Bulldogs over the Panthers.
Austin Poulsen scored 10 points to lead Pahranagat Valley.
Mountain View 57, Laughlin 39 — At Mountain View, T.J. Kissinger scored 15 points to help the Saints roll past the Cougars.
Tevin Gray added eight points for Mountain View.
Averie Prosise and Brett Smith each scored 10 points to lead Laughlin.
Agassi Prep 52, Needles 44 — At Needles, Kobe Williams scored 18 points and the Stars outscored the Mustangs 21-10 in the fourth quarter to grab the victory.
Steven Jones and Darryone Hatcher each supplied eight points for Agassi.
Phillip Chavez, Broc Loftin, and Mason Cisneros had nine points apiece for Needles.
Lincoln County 62, The Meadows 56 — At The Meadows, Ryan Rippetoe had 25 points, and Chandler Katschke scored 24 to lead the Lynx over the Mustangs.
Adam Abdelaziz led The Meadows with 16 points. Matthew Biafore scored 12 and Brandon Rufty had 10 for the Mustangs, who led 46-44 going into the fourth quarter.
Round Mountain 56, Sandy Valley 24 — At Sandy Valley, Serjio Chavez had 20 points to lead the Knights past the Sidewinders.
Caden Thomsen added 10 points for Round Mountain, which led 31-10 at the half and 49-12 after three quarters.
Guillermo Solano paced Sandy Valley with nine points.
