ROUNDUP: Mustang boys top century mark in win over Western

Kealyn Butler scored 28 points, and Terell Bowden added 27 points Wednesday to help Shadow Ridge’s boys basketball team race to a 106-74 win at Western.

The Mustangs used a 36-16 third quarter spurt to pull away. Jordin Williams added 14 points, and Serph Decker scored 10 for the Mustangs.

Travis Dunn had 24 points to lead the Warriors, who got 16 points from Darrion Murray and 10 points from Aldo Arpero.

Valley 93, Del Sol 54 —
At Del Sol, Ryan Johnson scored 17 points, and Daniel Young added 16 points as the Vikings roared past the Dragons.

Terrence Bentley had 10 points for Valley.

Tyrone Rouse paced Del Sol with 17 points. Kyle Collins added 12 points, and Jonross Juhas scored 10 for the Dragons.

Chaparral 73, Bonanza 52 —
At Chaparral, Tyree McNeal had 26 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cowboys to a win over the Bengals.

Patrick Savoy added 16 points and eight rebounds for Chaparral, which hit 13 of 14 free throws.

Rio Justice-Chandler had 17 points, and teammate Cameron Ladson contributed 13 points for Bonanza.

Durango 65, Rancho 36 —
At Rancho, Tyler Watts had 30 points and eight rebounds, and the Trailblazers used a 22-5 third quarter spurt to defeat the Rams.

Paris Estrada had 10 points and 12 assists, and Branden Stemley grabbed 18 rebounds for Durango.

Josiah Timpson led Rancho with 21 points.

Arbor View 77, Mojave 60 —
At Arbor View, Justin Burks had 18 points, six rebounds and three assists, and the Aggies used a 26-9 second-quarter spurt to put away from the Rattlers.

Navonte Hill and Charles Porter each had 13 points, and Terrell Butler added seven points, eight rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots for Arbor View.

Kemario Williams had 12 points, and Malik Abbott scored 11 for Mojave.

Adelson School 54, Beatty 45 — At Adelson School, Mendi Berrebi scored 30 points to lead the Lions to a win over the Hornets.

Sean Perry added 12 rebounds and eight points for Adelson, which led 32-18 at halftime.

Carlos Gomez scored 16 points, and teammate Jake Zamora added 12 points for Beatty.
