ROUNDUP: Noma’aea’s 39 points lift Sierra Vista boys past Green Valley

Viko Noma’aea scored 15 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter Monday to propel Sierra Vista’s boys basketball team to a 74-69 win at Green Valley.
Dylan Goings added 15 points for Sierra Vista, which entered the fourth quarter tied with the Gators at 51-51.
Deandre Kambala led Green Valley with 16 points. Durrell McDonald added 15 points and Austin Tebbs had 14 for the Gators.
Liberty 67, Legacy 63 — At Liberty, Ashante Ross scored 20 points, and Liberty rallied from a 36-28 halftime deficit to beat Legacy.
Tim Rambo added 18 points for the Patriots, who still trailed 52-49 entering the fourth quarter.
Sian Laine paced the Longhorns with 18 points. Zach Lane added 13 points for Legacy.
Needles 72, River Valley (Ariz.) 41 — At Mohave Valley, Ariz., Michael Hills scored 17 points and Ryan Andrews added 13 to lead the Mustangs to the win.
GIRLS
Liberty 55, Legacy 40 — At Liberty, Daynice Cochran had 16 points and 15 rebounds as the Patriots built a 34-19 halftime lead and cruised past Legacy.
Amanda Delgado scored 11 of her 14 points in the first half and added eight assists for Liberty. Phoebe Baker scored 12 points for the Patriots.
Kayla Murray led the Longhorns with 11 points.
Needles 61, River Valley (Ariz.) 22 — At Mohave Valley, Ariz., Alex Chandler had 18 points and six assists to lead the Mustangs to the easy win.
Miranda Brackett added 13 points for Needles, which led 40-8 at halftime.
