ROUNDUP: Norcom (Va.) scores late, spoils Findlay Prep’s big rally

Norcom (Va.) broke a 66-66 tie in the final 10 seconds of the game Saturday and stunned Findlay Prep, 68-66 in the 7 Cities Roundball Classic in Portsmouth, Va.
Norcom led 51-34 with less than four minutes remaining in the third quarter before the Pilots went on a 28-6 run to take a 62-57 lead with 3:40 to play in the game.
The Pilots still held a 66-63 lead with about a minute to play before Norcom scored the game’s final five points.
Findlay Prep, ranked No. 4 by ESPN Rise, is 17-2. Norcom, which extended its winning streak to 22 games, is ranked No. 23.
Virgin Valley 50, Enterprise (Utah) 31 — At Enterprise, Utah, Daniel Gleave had 14 points and 13 rebounds as the Bulldogs tamed the Wolves.
Brandon Cohen scored 14 points for Virgin Valley, which outscored Enterprise 26-10 in the middle two quarters.
Lincoln County 77, Laughlin 56 — At Panaca, Dantley Walker had 25 points, 17 assists, nine rebounds and six steals to lead the Lynx past the Cougars.
Chandler Katschke added 16 points and 12 rebounds for Lincoln County, and teammate Ryan Rippetoe supplied 16 points and nine rebounds. Preston Avery scored 12 points for the Lynx.
Andre Prosise led Laughlin with 17 points, and Kris Suhr scored 14 for the Cougars.
Mountain View 69, Calvary Chapel 57 — At Mountain View, Justyn Anderson surpassed the 2,000-point plateau for his career in leading the Saints past the Lions.
Anderson, who finished with 29 points, hit a pair of free throws with 15 seconds remaining to move his career scoring total to 2,001. He also had eight steals and six assists.
Trevor Van Kempen added 13 points, and Mathew Larson had 11 points and eight rebounds for Mountain View, which got 10 rebounds from Keith Flowers.
Cody Taylor led Calvary Chapel with 22 points. Joey Peterson added 13 points, and Bobby Buist scored 12 for the Lions.
Pahranagat Valley 54, Tonopah 20 — At Tonopah, Tyler Higbee scored 13 points to lead the Panthers past the Muckers.
Ten players scored for Pahranagat Valley, which raced to a 35-10 halftime lead.
David McGaw led Tonopah with 10 points.
Round Mountain 60, Trinity 32 — At Dula Gymnasium, Serjio Chavez poured in 22 points, and the Knights grabbed a 19-2 lead in the first quarter on their way to an easy win over the Thunder.
Mitchell Doheny added 15 points for Round Mountain.
GIRLS
Mountain View 37, Calvary Chapel 15 — At Mountain View, Briana Marruffo tallied 18 points, and the Saints limited the Lions to three second-half points.
Patrice Marshall added 15 points and eight steals for Mountain View, which ended the game on a 16-1 run.
Agassi Prep 41, The Meadows 23 — At The Meadows, Kayla Johnson scored 12 points, and Alannah Conway added 10 points to help the Stars beat the Mustangs.
Casey Barber led The Meadows with eight points.
Lincoln County 52, Laughlin 20 — At Panaca, Tia Florence led a balanced attack with 11 points as the Lynx downed the Cougars.
Lincoln County took a 12-0 lead after one quarter and cruised to the win.
Pahranagat Valley 46, Tonopah 32 — At Tonopah, Dakota Day scored seven of her 15 points during a 17-4 fourth-quarter run that propelled the Panthers past the Muckers.
Day finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Kimberly Lewis added 10 points and 16 rebounds, and Halie Lewis grabbed 10 rebounds for Pahranagat Valley.
Meghann Thibodeaux had 10 points and nine rebounds for Tonopah.
