ROUNDUP: Roadrunner boys follow West’s lead

Josh West scored 17 points Tuesday night to help Tech’s boys basketball team to a 57-46 home victory over Silverado.

Tyler Walker added 11 points for the Roadrunners, who trailed 24-23 at the half.

Raven Russell and Isaiah Glover each had eight points for the Skyhawks.

Del Sol 62, Rancho 57 — At Del Sol, Tyrone Rouse had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Noah Spearman had 18 points and 15 rebounds as the Dragons defeated the Rams in double overtime.

Michael DeLeon added 12 points for Del Sol, which outscored Rancho 8-3 in the second extra period.

Joseph Ortiz had 22 points for Rancho, which got 10 points apiece from Jason Mack and Josiah Timpson.

Las Vegas 86, Coronado 64 — At Coronado, Juwon Major had 27 points, and teammate Aziz Leeks scored 19 to power the Wildcats past the Cougars.

Re’Kwon Smith had 12 points for Las Vegas, which used a 23-5 first-quarter burst to pull away.

Justice Augmon supplied 19 points, and Jordan Willis scored 15 points to pace Coronado, which got 10 points apiece from Ricardo Robinson and Charlie Teixeira.

Legacy 75, Sierra Vista 69 — At Legacy, Donavon Gray scored 17 points to help the Longhorns beat the Mountain Lions.

Javon Peterson added 15 points for Legacy, which squandered all of a 15-point lead before regaining its composure down the stretch.

Larry Jones led Sierra Vista with 18 points.

Centennial 88, Liberty 70 — At Centennial, Marcus Allen poured in 38 points to help the Bulldogs top the Patriots.

Malcolm Allen added 28 points for Centennial, which built a 20-7 first-quarter lead.

Michael Robinson had 19 points, and Jeremy Lontayao added 14 points for Liberty, which got 13 points from Zach Johnson.

Canyon Springs 58, Boulder City 46 — At Canyon Springs, Shaquile Carr scored 20 points and was 10-for-10 at the free-throw line, helping the Pioneers turn back the Eagles.

Darrell McCall supplied 16 points for Canyon Springs, and Chris Nelson scored eight.

Boulder City’s Tanner Howell had 12 points, and teammate Blake Worrell scored 10.

Green Valley 78, Sunrise Mountain 52 — At Green Valley, Troy Cropper had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Gators over the Miners.

Tyler Roberts added 17 points and seven rebounds, and Ikaika Pladera had 12 points and six assists for Green Valley.

Zane Gibbs paced Sunrise Mountain with 12 points, and teammate Jason Ford added 10 points.

Laughlin 47, Spring Mountain 44 — At Spring Mountain, Trey Smith scored 20 points, and Averie Prosise had 12 points as the Cougars edged the Eagles.

Smith knocked down six 3-pointers for Laughlin, which used a 17-8 third quarter run to pull away. Brett Smith grabbed 22 rebounds for the Cougars.

Roemello Tatum had 18 points to lead Spring Mountain, which got eight points from Develle Williams.

Faith Lutheran 44, Virgin Valley 33 — At Mesquite, Sam Stevens had 16 points to lead the Crusaders past the Bulldogs.

D.J. Manning added eight points for Faith Lutheran, which rolled to a 20-8 halftime lead.

Tyson Teerlink led Virgin Valley with 13 points, and teammate Dee Bowler scored 10.
