Roundup: Savio Rivera scores 33 to help Centennial beat Las Vegas High

Savio Rivera made five 3-pointers and shot 12-for-12 from the free-throw line en route to a game-high 33 points in the Centennial boys basketball team’s 74-59 home win over Las Vegas High on Tuesday night.

Marqis Turner scored 13 for Bulldogs, who led 39-26 at halftime.

Jaylin Headen led the Wildcats with 21 points.

Shadow Ridge 74, Sierra Vista 65 — At Sierra Vista, Garin MacFarlane scored 19 points to help the Mustangs topple the Mountain Lions.

Josiah Cruz scored 18 for Shadow Ridge, which went 13-for-21 at the free-throw line.

Mason Engmann scored 20 for Sierra Vista, which made nine 3-pointers but shot 6-for-21 from the charity stripe.

Spring Valley 88, Green Valley 76 — At Spring Valley, Chazmon Penro scored 25 to help the Grizzlies top the Gators.

James Webster added 15 points for Spring Valley, which led 53-22 at the break.

Kaden Jackson scored 18 to lead Green Valley.

Desert Oasis 71, Cimarron-Memorial 60 — At Cimarron, Nate Van had 23 points and Dominique Ford scored 22 as the Diamondbacks took care of the Spartans.

Nico Ramos and Cade Savell tallied seven points apiece for Desert Oasis, which outscored Cimarron 48-37 in the second half to break a 23-23 halftime tie.

Brian Lang and Makhi Walker each scored 19 points to pace Cimarron.

Del Sol 74, Tech 67 — At Del Sol, Tyrell Hampton scored 25 points to help the Dragons hold off the Roadrunners.

Nati Asfaw added 21 for Del Sol, which led 45-33 at halftime.

Manny Board scored 13 to lead Tech.

Arbor View 85, Legacy 62 — At Legacy, Favor Chukwukelu scored 20 points to help the Aggies topple the Longhorns.

Donovan Yap scored 18 points for Arbor View, and teammate Larry Holmes added 12 points.

Emmanuel Austin led Legacy with 20 points.

Boulder City 50, Basic 39 — At Basic, Matt Morton scored 16 points to help the Eagles take care of the Wolves.

Derrick Thomas added 12 points for Boulder City, and teammate Karson Bailey scored 10.

Demetrius Vigil led Basic with nine points.

Bonanza 78, Pahrump Valley 36 — At Bonanza, Kendell Burrell scored 18 points to lead nine scorers, as the Bengals routed the Trojans.

Ian White had 14 points, and Kadin Warner and Trent Savage each added 12 points for Bonanza, which drained seven 3-pointers.

Brayden Severt scored 13 points to lead Pahrump.

Mojave 70, Virgin Valley 36 — At Mojave, Chris Jackson had 20 points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots, and the Rattlers came up with 22 steals as they routed the Bulldogs.

DeSaun Smith added 13 points and four steals for Mojave, which led 45-21 at halftime.

Daxon Toone paced Virgin Valley with 10 points.

Adelson School 57, Spring Mountain 54 — At Adelson School, Harrison Clayton scored 19 points, and knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer with four seconds remaining to lift the Lions over the Eagles.

Ore Inbar had 13 points, and Noah Stanigar added 11 points for Adelson School.

Oliver Singleton had a game-high 34 points to lead Spring Mountain.

Sunrise Mountain 36, Western 34 — At Sunrise Mountain, Tyree Hayes hit two free throws with 43 seconds left in the game, giving the Miners the win over the Warriors.

Hayes finished with 21 points. Moises Garcia chipped in with eight points for Sunrise Mountain, which rallied from a 20-11 halftime deficit.

Gawain Powell and James Wade each scored 12 points for Western.

SLAM Academy 69, Moapa Valley 54 — At Overton, Jalen Cunningham poured in 27 points, leading the Bulls to the win over the Pirates.

Jamal Carr and Noa Lee Delpozo each scored 12 points for SLAM Academy, which jumped out to a 41-22 halftime lead.

Jessup Lake scored 22 points to lead Moapa Valley, and teammate Lucas Walker added 10 points.

Sky Pointe 60, GV Christian 31 — At Sky Pointe, Nijel Murray scored 15 points to help the Eagles beat the Guardians.

Preston Davis had 13 points, and Zachary Barfield scored 12 for Sky Pointe.
