Roundup: The Meadows boys, girls beat Mountain View

Obinna Ezeanolue poured in 27 points Saturday to lead The Meadows to a 64-34 boys basketball victory over host Mountain View.

Trey Covell added nine points for the Mustangs, who dropped a 41-40 decision to Lake Mead on Friday night.

Zack Wood scored 12 points, and Rason McLennan had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Saints.

Girls

The Meadows used a 10-0 third-quarter run to take control en route to a 33-26 girls basketball win over host Mountain View on Saturday.

Kambree Takekuma had nine points to lead The Meadows, which led 26-16 after the third quarter.

Avery Kokinda added eight points for the Mustangs.

Amani Reece paced the Saints with 12 points.
