ROUNDUP: Thompson’s treys propel Pirate boys past Tech

Josh Thompson drained three 3-pointers in the second half to finish with 18 points Saturday and lead Moapa Valley’s boys basketball team to a 69-57 home win over Tech.
Ben Seibert scored 25 points for the Roadrunners, and Michael Johnson added 19.
Cleveland (Calif.) 67, Durango 58 — At Carson, Calif., Jaylen Bland had 25 points and 11 rebounds as Cleveland outlasted the Trailblazers.
Greg Gentry paced Durango with 12 points, and Shawn Jones had 10 points.
Parowan (Utah) 56, Virgin Valley 53 — At Mesquite, Parowan used an 18-10 third-quarter edge to rally from a 20-16 halftime deficit and edge the Bulldogs.
Cameron Jensen led Virgin Valley with 24 points. Jason Wittwer added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Needles 56, White Pine 35 — At Ely, Needles outscored the Bobcats 33-9 in the second half to rally for the win.
The Meadows 76, West Wendover 71 — At West Wendover, the Mustangs outscored the Wolverines 11-6 in overtime en route to the win.
Max Newman led The Meadows with 20 points. Garrett Gosse scored 18 points, while Dylan Lee added 18 and Austin Brown had 16 for the Mustangs.
Drew Arrien paced West Wendover with 27 points. Kevin Ramirez added 23.
Lake Mead 73, Tonopah 34 — At Lake Mead, De’Quan Thompson scored 14 of his 21 points in the first half as the Eagles built a 38-16 halftime lead and cruised past the Muckers.
Landon Littlefield added 19 points, including 12 in the first half, for Lake Mead.
Adam Thackery paced Tonopah with 15 points.
Beatty 56, Pahranagat Valley 54 — At Beatty, Anthony Regalado scored 20 points to help the Hornets edge the Panthers.
Ramiro Hernandez scored 14 points, and Ivan Maldonado had 12 points for Beatty.
Cody Hosier paced the Panthers with 25 points, and Tyler Higbee scored 13.

Trinity 92, Lund 35 —
 At Mirabelli Gym, Gage Neuwohner had 29 points as the Thunder rolled past Lund.
Budweiser Hawkins scored 20 of his 27 points in the first half for Trinity, and David Agwara added 16 points.
Jarett Gubler scored 15 points and Luke Hair had 14 for the Mustangs.
Henderson International 36, Round Mountain 33 — At Henderson International, the Wolverines rallied from a 17-5 first-quarter deficit to force overtime, then outscored the Knights 7-4 in the extra period.
Charles Pachas scored all 12 of his points in the first half for the Wolverines.
Will Sweeney led the Knights with 10 points.
