ROUNDUP: Tiffany rescues Tech boys, hits three free throws after time expires

Tech’s Brandon Tiffany made three free throws with no time remaining, lifting the Roadrunners to a 57-56 home victory over Del Sol on Tuesday.

Tiffany finished with 11 points. Cornelious Coleman led Tech with 17 points. Mike Maglich added 11 and Michael Johnson 10.

Del Sol’s Anthony Martinez led all scorers with 23 points, and Devonti Gilmore added 12.

Cheyenne 65, Centennial 63 — At Centennial, Elijah Johnson scored 33 points as the Desert Shields escaped against the Bulldogs.

Centennial’s Ben Vozzola missed a last-second 3-point attempt.

Demetric Williams added 11 and Jaylen Henry 10 for Cheyenne, which trailed 37-31 at halftime.

Centennial had five scorers in double figures, led by Beau Scarlett with 13 points. Matt Holley and Drew Staker had 12 each, Anil Kundanani 11 and Vozzola 10.

Bishop Gorman 52, Spring Valley 51 — At Spring Valley, John Loyd’s only basket of the game with four seconds to play gave the Gaels the victory over the Grizzlies.

Czar Robotham had 16 points and Anson Winder 15 for Gorman.

Corey Clement led Spring Valley with 17, and Anton Stallworth had 12.

Foothill 67, Green Valley 60 — At Green Valley, Evan Roquemore scored 13 points to lead the Falcons’ balanced attack against the Gators.

Martin Earnest and Kadeem Minor had 10 points apiece for Foothill, which had 11 scorers.

Julian Franklin led Green Valley with 22 points. Glenn Bewley had 15 and Demetrius Pittman 10.

Mojave 56, Arbor View 48 — At Mojave, Anthony Marshall supplied 18 points and five assists to carry the Rattlers over the Aggies.

Kevin James added 12 points and nine rebounds, and Brandon Birdsong had 12 points and eight rebounds

The Aggies’ Darington Banks had 18 points, Kenny Mack 12 and Maiscei Grier 10.

Palo Verde 91, Cimarron-Memorial 55 — At Palo Verde, Moses Morgan had 16 points to help the Panthers beat the Spartans.

Davion Pearson and Delron Mims added 13 points each for Palo Verde. Kevin Olekaibe led Cimarron with 16.

Liberty 70, Coronado 61 — At Liberty, Bradley recruit Milos Knezevic compiled 32 points and 12 rebounds as the Patriots pulled away late.

Coronado pulled within one point with five minutes to play, but Liberty secured the victory at the foul line.

Ashante Ross added 11 points for Liberty.

Blake Smith scored 14 to lead the Cougars. Austin Nelson and Brett Hoisington had 13 each and Brandon Glanz 12.

Legacy 60, Shadow Ridge 43 — At Shadow Ridge, Terrell Evans scored 18 points to guide the Longhorns past the Mustangs.

Sian Laine added 13 points and Samuel Johnson 12 for Legacy.

Joseph Pearson scored 14 and Zach Hafen 13 Shadow Ridge.

Silverado 54, Basic 43 — At Silverado, the Skyhawks took control over the Wolves with a 17-4 edge in the first quarter.

Wade Collie had 17 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals to lead Silverado. Ali Sabra added eight assists.

Vince Carducci led Basic with 11 points.

Needles (Calif.) 59, Boulder City 58 — At Boulder City, the Mustangs capitalized on a late technical foul against Boulder City for calling a timeout with none remaining.

The timeout was called from the Boulder City sideline during a scrum for the ball in the final 10 seconds.

Needles senior Darra Russell made 1 of 2 free throws to put Needles ahead.

Stevie Kidd scored 28 points for Needles and Russell had 11.

Joey Western, Alex Dillon and Jeremy Smith scored 14 each for Boulder City.

Mountain View 68, Spring Mountain 65 — At Mountain View, Justyn Anderson supplied 25 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals as the Saints edged the Golden Eagles.

Cortland LeBoeuf added 20 points and seven steals for Mountain View, which used a 17-6 third quarter to take a 52-42 lead.

Davorite Sandifer scored 14 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter for Spring Mountain. Sandifer made eight 3-pointers, four in the fourth quarter.

Terence Green added 18 points for the Golden Eagles.

Trinity 53, Adelson School 42 — At Adelson, Budweiser Hawkins scored 16 points to power the Thunder past the Lions.

Adelson’s Aaron Lapping had 13 points and eight assists, and Gabi Bornstein added 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Henderson International 78, Calvary Chapel 57 — At Henderson International, Josh Young had 21 points and seven rebounds to carry the Wolverines past the Lions.

Danny Moerman added 17 points and six boards for Henderson International.

Calvary Chapel’s Julien Mejia scored 25 points and Tyler Moore had 13.

Faith Lutheran JV 54, Indian Springs 41 — At Indian Springs, Kenny Clark scored 13 points to guide the Crusaders junior varsity past the Thunderbirds.

Brady Hughes had 12 points, nine rebounds and four steals to lead Indian Springs.

Patrick McClain added 12 points and Junior Baker 10 for the Thunderbirds.
