ROUNDUP: Toliver’s last second layup lifts Palo Verde boys over Sundevils

Trayvail Toliver’s layup with 1.9 seconds left Wednesday lifted Palo Verde’s boys basketball team to an 80-78 win over visiting Eldorado.

Eris Winder, who set up Toliver for the winning score, finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four steals for the Panthers.

Darryl Gaynor supplied 21 points, and Joey Randazzo scored for the Panthers, who got 12 points from Sam Hutchings.

D.J. Billingsley and Jayveon Brown each contributed 19 points for the Sundevils, who got 13 points from Darrion Daniels.

Del Sol 78, Spring Valley 71 — At Spring Valley, Tyrone Rouse scored 10 of his 26 points after regulation as the Dragons battled back from a 43-30 halftime deficit to down the Grizzlies in double overtime.

Noah Spearman added 14 points for Del Sol. Kyle Collins had 11 points, and Eduardo Romero tallied 10 points for the Dragons, who shot 48 free throws to Spring Valley’s 13.

Terrell Lee had 21 points, and Travis Walton scored 13 for the Grizzlies, who got 11 points from Dionte Humphrey.

Centennial 78, Shadow Ridge 61—
At Centennial, Marcus Allen and Malcolm Allen combined for 55 points as the Bulldogs defeated the Mustangs.

Marcus Allen tallied 31 points, and Malcolm Allen scored 24 for Centennial, which led 48-37 at halftime.

Anthony Carter had 25 points, and Terrell Bowden scored 12 for Shadow Ridge.

Sierra Vista 61, Rancho 58 — At Sierra Vista, Alec DeMarrias led a balanced attack with 12 points as the Mountain Lions held off the Rams.

Josiah Timpson has six 3-pointers and 26 points for Rancho. J’men Eagles added 18 points for the Rams.

Foothill 68, Green Valley 51 — At Green Valley, Austin Starr scored 18 points to help the Falcons top the Gators.

Brannon Cresanto added 13 points, Elijah Smith scored 11 and Kyle Andres 10 for Foothill, which outscored Green Valley 26-17 in the fourth quarter.

Tyler Roberts led Green Valley with 14 points.

Bishop Gorman 64, Bishop Manogue 37 —
 At Reno, Noah Robotham had 20 points and six assists to help the Gaels down the Miners in the opening game of the Wild West Shootout tournament.

Stephen Zimmerman added 11 points, eight rebounds and five blocked shots for Gorman, which led 31-14 at the half and 53-23 after three quarters.

Anthony Salerno paced Manogue with 13 points.

Arbor View 68, Faith Lutheran 48 —
At Arbor View, Justin Burks scored 19 points, and teammate Terrell Butler had 15 points to help the Aggies cruise past the Crusaders.

Charles Porter added 11 points, and Navonte Hill supplied seven points and five assists for Arbor View, which got nine rebounds from Isaiah Simmons.

D’Khari Hicks led Faith Lutheran with 14 points.

Valley 77, Pahrump Valley 31 — At Valley, Kafre Roberts had 15 points, and Ryan Johnson scored 13 to lead the Vikings past the Trojans.

Valley jumped out to a 48-14 lead at halftime.

Billy Palmore had seven points for the Trojans, who made seven 3-pointers.

Mojave 64, Agassi Prep 58 — At Mojave, Malik Abbott tallied 15 points, and the Rattlers built a 39-26 halftime lead before holding off the Stars.

Jordan Glenn and Kemario Williams each had 14 points, and Jai’Angelis Stevenson scored 10 points for Mojave.

Steven Jones had 13 points, and Darius Coaxum tallied 12 points for Agassi Prep. Darryone Hatcher added 11 points, and Dennis Walker scored 10 for the Stars.

The Meadows 52, Pahranagat Valley 40 —
At Alamo, Matthew Biafore tallied 18 points, and the Mustangs outscored the Panthers 22-7 in the fourth quarter to grab the victory.

Ethan Fridman and Brian Fridman each added 11 points for The Meadows.

Austin Poulsen scored 19 points for Pahranagat.
