ROUNDUP: Trio guides Bonanza boys past Pahrump

Cameron Ladson, Travis Noone and Rio Justice Chandler combined to score all of Bonanza’s points during a 19-5 second-quarter run Saturday that propelled the Bengals’ boys basketball team to a 61-45 home win over Pahrump Valley.

Ladson finished with 16 points, and Noone scored 12. Each player had six points in the second quarter. DeAndre Hicks added 11 points, and Rio Justice Chandler scored 10, seven of those in the second quarter.

Quon Cotton and Billy Palmore each had 13 points, and Dalton Beighley scored 11 for the Trojans.

Virgin Valley 49, Moapa Valley 47 — At Mesquite, Tyson Teerlink scored 15 points, and the Bulldogs withstood a late rally to edge the Pirates.

DeVonte Milligan added 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Dee Bowler had 10 points for Virgin Valley, which led by 11 with four minutes left.

The Pirates trimmed the lead to 48-47 with two seconds left before Virgin Valley’s Cristian Aguirre hit the first of two free throws. Moapa Valley rebounded the second free throw, but a long 3-point attempt was off the mark.

Andrew Huerta had 14 points, and Jeremy Waite scored 11 for the Pirates.

Sunrise Mountain 58, Pahranagat Valley 50 —
 At Sunrise Mountain, Shmarlio Tolliver had 18 points to help the Miners hold off the Panthers.

Zane Gibbs and Jovon Kirtley each had 11 points, and Jason Ford scored 10 for Sunrise Mountain.

Caleb Higbee led Pahranagat Valley with 16 points. Tyson Sparrow scored 14, and Mason Stirling had 12 points for the Panthers.

The Meadows 59, Laughlin 34 — At The Meadows, Ethan Fridman led a balanced attack with 14 points as the Mustangs downed the Cougars.

Brandon Rufty scored 12 points, and Adam Abdelaziz had 11 points for The Meadows, which got 10 points from Brian Fridman.

Trey Smith had 15 points, and A.J. Nelson scored 12 for Laughlin.

Lincoln County 73, Calvary Chapel 58 — At Panaca, Ryan Rippetoe had 32 points and 14 rebounds, and Chandler Katschke added 25 points and 17 rebounds to power the Lynx by the Lions.

Drew Hammond paced Calvary Chapel with 25 points, and Matthew Harney scored 11 for the Lions.

Lake Mead 38, Needles 36 — At Needles, Calif., Caleb Pitman scored 14 points, and the Eagles overcame a 16-11 halftime deficit to top the Mustangs.

Wesley Brule added 12 points for Lake Mead, which played without top scorer Justin Yamzon, who injured his knee Friday.

Devin Truscott and Mason Cisneros each had nine points for Needles.
