ROUNDUP: Wakefield, Cougars rout Pahrump
Charlie Wakefield drained four of Coronado’s 11 3-pointers and had 26 points Monday as the Cougars downed visting Pahrump Valley, 89-53.
Austin Nelson added 15 points and eight assists for Coronado, which sprinted to a 46-26 halftime lead. Adam Schmitt scored 10 for the Cougars.
Tyler True led the Trojans with 16 points, and teammate Marvin Weekly added 15 points.
Faith Lutheran 71, The Meadows 46 — At The Meadows, Brett Lubbe had 25 points and 14 rebounds to help the Crusaders to a 71-46 win over the Mustangs.
Taylor Jantz added 17 points for Faith Lutheran.
Richard Martinez scored 13 points for The Meadows.
Oasis Christian 64, Indian Springs 50 — At Indian Springs, Oasis outscored the Thunderbirds 42-26 in the second half to secure the win.
Patrick McLain led Indian Springs with 18 points.
