Here is a recap of every team that won a state title during the 2016-17 winter sports season and will be looking to defend this upcoming season.

Class 4A: Bishop Gorman def. Clark, 62-58.
Class 3A: Desert Pines def. Cheyenne, 69-46.
Class 2A: Agassi Prep def. Adelson School, 60-43.
Class 1A: Mineral County def. Pahranagat Valley, 63-46.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Class 4A: Centennial def. Bishop Manogue, 97-52.
Class 3A: Churchill County def. Lowry, 54-38.
*Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley were ousted in the state semifinals.
Class 2A: Needles def. Agassi Prep, 64-54.
Class 1A: Owyhee def. Round Mountain, 65-37.
WRESTLING
Class 4A: Green Valley def. Spanish Springs, 152-125.
Class 3A: Spring Creek def. Churchill County, 135-132.
*Boulder City was Southern Nevada’s top finisher in third place with 123.5 points.
Class 2A/1A: Battle Mountain def. Pershing County, 194-154.5.
*Lincoln County was Southern Nevada’s top finisher in seventh place with 61.5 points.
