Two Findlay Prep stars named Parade All-Americans

Two Findlay Prep boys basketball players were named Monday to Parade Magazine’s All-America teams.

Pilots guard Avery Bradley was selected to the first team, and backcourt mate D.J. Richardson was chosen to the fourth team.

Bradley, who has signed with Texas, already has been chosen to play in the McDonald’s All-American game Wednesday at BankUnited Center in Miami and in the Jordan Brand Classic on April 18 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Bradley averaged 19 points, 4.4 rebounds, three assists and three steals per game this season in leading Findlay Prep to a 30-0 record and No. 1 national ranking in USA Today’s Super 25 poll.

Richardson, who has signed with Illinois, averaged 12.1 points.

The Pilots open the National High School Invitational in Bethesda, Md., with a quarterfinal game against Mountain State Academy (W.Va.) at 3 p.m. Friday on ESPNU.
