Returning letter winners (starters): Four (two)

Top players: G Aleza Bell (Sr.), G D’Licya Feaster (Sr.)

Outlook: For the past several years, the Pioneers have been one of the Northeast League’s top teams. They’ll have some work to do to stay there as only two starters return from last year’s squad.

“We’re expecting to work hard,” Walker said.

There are new top teams in the Review-Journal’s Class 5A basketball rankings after Saturday’s Big City Showdown. Also included are flag football rankings.
