2012-13 record: 9-19 (2-8 Southeast, fifth)

Returning letter winners (starters): Four (two)

Top players: F Azhwalaee Oliver (Jr.), G Alina Marruffo (So.)

Outlook: The Dragons showed signs of progress last year, but have only four players back.

“We are going to be a young team, but we are a better shooting team and more athletic than in the past,” Powell said. “Depth is going to be a concern early in the season because our bench is not overly experienced.

“If we can overcome that, we should be competitive with most teams we play and hopefully compete for a playoff spot.”
