2011-12 record: 5-14 (4-10 Northeast)

Returning letter winners (starters): Two (one)

Top players: G Cydney Myles (Sr.), F Raven Thomas (Sr.)

Outlook: The Jaguars are extremely young with five freshmen on the roster.

In Myles, though, they have a guard who will be competing on the varsity level for her fourth year.

"We have two new post players with height and experience," McFarland said. "We have a young team with speed and talent, and we're looking forward to a winning season."

Legacy and Canyon Springs couldn’t keep up in the Class 4A girls basketball state semifinals. The Southern Region representatives in 3A also were eliminated.
