GIRLS BASKETBALL: Bolden, Gaels collect tournament win

Sandria Bolden hit four 3-pointers and had 16 points Saturday to help Bishop Gorman’s girls basketball team to a 67-50 win over Mt. Carmel (Calif.) in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic in San Diego.

Raychel Stanley added 15 points, and Megan Jacobs and Maddison Washington each scored 12 for the Gaels, who used an 18-6 second-quarter run to build a 32-24 halftime lead.

Ali Engelhardt had 24 points for Mt. Carmel.

Boulder City 42, Elsinore (Calif.) 26 — At Murrieta, Calif., Whitney Barlow had 15 points to lead the Eagles to a win over the Tigers in the Nighthawk Classic.

Katlyn Daly added nine points for Boulder City.

Crystal Zuniga led Elsinore with 11 points.

Valley View (Calif.) 59, Legacy 50 — At Los Angeles, DiJanai Williams had 24 points, and Taylor Long scored 20 to lead the Eagles by the Longhorns in the West Coast Festival.

Carolina Rahkonen had 14 points, and Aviana Clark and Markeshia Evans each added 10 points for Legacy.
