GIRLS BASKETBALL: Burrell, Falcons top Rancho

Rae Burrell had 21 points Thursday to lead Foothill's girls basketball team to a 44-38 win at Rancho.

Kylie Vint added 10 points for the Falcons, who made 17 of 18 free throws.

Tatianna Lee led the Rams with 13 points, and teammate Maureen Macato scored 12.

Silverado 64, Valley 55 — At Valley, Deja Siaki scored 16 points to help the Skyhawks down the Vikings.

Japrea Edwards had 14 points, and teammate Araianna Moon added 10 points for Silverado, which pulled away from a 24-all halftime tie.

Sandra Scroggins had 12 points, nine rebounds, five steals and five assists to lead Valley, which got nine points, 10 rebounds, five steals and five blocks from Eimainei Thomas-Palmer. Almond Slayton added eight points and 10 rebounds for Valley.

Liberty 56, Las Vegas 32 — At Las Vegas, Nancy Caballero had 11 points as the Patriots rolled past the Wildcats.

Kaily Kaimikaua had 10 points for Liberty, which used a 20-1 second-quarter run to take control and had 11 players score.

Bianca Matlock and Teconna Dyer each scored 11 points to pace Las Vegas.

Desert Oasis 74, Cimarron-Memorial 39 — At Desert Oasis, Ashlynn Sharp had 17 points to lead the Diamondbacks by the Spartans.

Mikala Kirby had 16 points, and Taryn Lampkin scored 14 for Desert Oasis, which led 41-18 at the half.

Tasia Moore led Cimarron with 12 points.

Centennial 51, Bonanza 2 — At Centennial, Justice Ethridge scored 11 points as the Bulldogs blitzed the Bengals.

Jayden Eggleston came off the bench to add 10 points for Centennial, which led 51-2 with 2:53 to go in the second quarter.

Clarissa Scott's jumper with 3:20 left in the first quarter accounted for Bonanza's scoring. Bonanza dressed only seven players and had four foul out.

Sandy Valley 55, Word of Life 25 — At Meadows YMCA, the Sidewinders routed the Eagles.

Coronado vs. Green Valley — The Coronado at Green Valley game was postponed due to malfunctioning lighting. A makeup date was not announced.
