GIRLS BASKETBALL: Gill, Strode help Aggies rout Bengals

Ariona Gill had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Janae Strode added 18 points and eight rebounds Tuesday to lead Arbor View’s girls basketball team to an 83-42 rout of visiting Bonanza.
Caroline Rivera scored 14 points, and Katrina Nordstrom had 11 points for the Aggies.
Alyssa Powers tallied 24 points, and Brooklyn Savage added 11 points to lead the Bengals.
Foothill 63, Green Valley 51 — At Green Valley, Taylor Turney led three double-figure scorers with 23 points as the Falcons downed the Gators.
Trinity Betoney had 18 points, and Katey Roquemore scored 11 for Foothill, which got 16 rebounds from Rae Burrell.
Ellee Barton led Green Valley with 16 points.
Coronado 72, Eldorado 41 — At Eldorado, Dajah Washington had 16 points, and Samantha Green scored 15 as the Cougars routed the Sundevils.
Payton Caci added 12 points, and Kayla Watterson scored 10 for Coronado, which led 42-19 at halftime.
Daria Lomasney and Deasia Walker had 16 points apiece for Eldorado.
Centennial 62, Desert Oasis 27 — At Desert Oasis, Karina Brandon scored 20 points as the Bulldogs topped the Diamondbacks.
Justice Ethridge added 13 points for Centennial, which led 39-7 at halftime.
Ashlynn Sharp had 13 points for Desert Oasis.
Rancho 45, Basic 29 — At Basic, LaKissa Martin poured in 20 points to lead the Rams by the Wolves.
Jayla Brown led Basic with 14 points.
Canyon Springs 74, Silverado 28 — At Canyon Springs, Alexia Thrower scored 25 points as the Pioneers routed the Skyhawks.
Dre’una Edwards added 10 points for Canyon Springs, which bolted to a 35-13 halftime lead.
Monet Salazar scored 10 points for Silverado.
Mountain View 60, Calvary Chapel 21 — At Calvary Chapel, Kiley Murphy had 23 points as the Saints rolled by the Lions.
Rose Adkins added 15 points for Mountain View.
Needles 50, Laughlin 19 — At Laughlin, Brenna Chavez scored 17 points to guide the Mustangs to a win over the Cougars.
Preslee Murch had 12 points, and Jane Antone added 11 points for Needles.
Kayla Nelson scored 10 points to lead Laughlin.
Agassi Prep 64, Lake Mead 27 — At Lake Mead, Destiny Rover poured in 15 points to lead the Stars past the Eagles.
Koamilah Griffin, Lovely Glinton and Azaria Conway-Wilson each scored eight points for Agassi Prep.
Savannah Schmidt scored 19 points to lead Lake Mead.
Sandy Valley 36, Indian Springs 16 — At Indian Springs, Jacinda Fansher scored 13 points to help the Sidewinders top the Thunderbirds.
Lauren Cripe added 11 points for Sandy Valley, which led 28-9 at the half.
