GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lomasney helps Sundevils top Cimarron

Daria Lomasney scored 23 points Monday to help Eldorado's girls basketball team to a 57-53 win at Cimarron-Memorial.

DeAsia Walker added 18 points for the Sundevils, who used a 16-9 third-quarter spurt to take control of the game.

Ashli Tyus scored 20 points to lead the Spartans, and teammate Niara Smith added 12 points.

Arbor View 65, Palo Verde 60 — At Arbor View, Kalli Hosier scored 13 points as the Aggies held off the Panthers.

Alaysia Reed and Caroline Rivera-Cervantes each scored 12 points, and Kera Farmer added 11 points for Arbor View, which led by as many as 19 points in the second half but made just 6 of 25 free throws.

Brooklyn Cruz scored 18 points, and Paulina Silcox added 17 points for Palo Verde.

Canyon Springs 52, Durango 29 — At Canyon Springs, Alexia Thrower scored 22 points to lead the Pioneers by the Trailblazers.

D'Licya Feaster added 10 points for Canyon Springs, which led 20-14 at the half.

Rianne Lu led Durango with 10 points.

Adelson School 48, Word of Life 14 — At Adelson, Hayden Jansen and Caroline Altman each had 12 points as the Lions routed the Eagles.

Adelson led 26-3 after one quarter and never looked back.

Arieyanna Banks led Word of Life with eight points.
