GIRLS BASKETBALL: Mustangs hold off Cougars

Delaney Gosse and Kaiya Massey each scored 12 points on Saturday to lead The Meadows girls basketball team to a 46-34 home win over Laughlin.
The Mustangs jumped out to a 29-9 lead at the half and held off the Cougars.
Diana Durazo led Laughlin with 13 points.
Pahranagat Valley 53, Wells 26 — At Wells, Traci Strong led four Panthers in double figures with 15 points as they topped the Leopards.
Kalli Hosier had 11 points, and Bailee Hosier scored 10 for Pahranagat Valley, which also got 10 points and 12 rebounds from Kimberly Lewis.
Jesenia Aboite scored eight points for Wells.
Calvary Chapel 52, Mountain View 41 — At Mountain View, Lianne Reyes and Phallen Nelson combined for 40 points as the Lions topped the Saints.
Reyes led all scorers with 21 points.
Kiley Murphy led Mountain View with 12 points, and teammate Caitlyn Martin scored 10.
