GIRLS BASKETBALL: Neagle, Crusaders top Trojans

Bryanna Neagle scored 14 points to lead three Faith Lutheran players in double figures as the Crusaders rolled to a 58-23 girls basketball victory over host Pahrump Valley on Tuesday.

Sam Caruth added 14 points, and Madison Bocobo scored 11 for Faith Lutheran, which led 30-12 at the half and 45-16 after three quarters.

Bethany Calvert led the Trojans with six points.

Mountain View 40, Lake Mead 38 — At Lake Mead, Tayah De'Bouck scored 16 points and the Saints held off the Eagles.

Nia Van Kempen added 10 points for Mountain View, which had three players foul out and played more than a minute with four players.

Josey White had 14 points to lead Lake Mead, which outscored the Saints 20-7 in the fourth quarter but couldn't complete the rally.

Chloe McDonald added 10 points for the Eagles.
