Class 4A

1. Centennial (0-0) — The Bulldogs will look to keep their state title streak going.

2. Liberty (4-0) — Foothill transfer Rae Burrell will make the Patriots even tougher.

3. Spring Valley (1-0) — Guards Essence Booker and Kayla Harris are back for their senior seasons.

4. Desert Oasis (1-0) — Tennessee State recruit Dajaah Lightfoot returns to lead the Diamondbacks.

5. Bishop Gorman (0-0) — The Gaels will have their hands full in the loaded Southwest League.

6. Faith Lutheran (3-2) — Senior point guard Madison Bocobo is back to lead the Crusaders.

7. Coronado (3-1) — The Cougars will lean on senior Haley Tyrell.

8. Foothill (1-0) — The Falcons made state last season, but returning without Burrell could be tough.

9. Canyon Springs (1-3) — The defending Northeast League champs must replace leading scorer and rebounder Yemiyah Morris.

10. Green Valley (0-0) — The young Gators return three starters, but lost leading scorer Brooke Haney.

Class 3A

1. Virgin Valley (1-0) — The defending Sunrise League champs must replace four seniors, including three starters.

2. Cheyenne (1-3) — The early losses came against strong Class 4A competition.

3. Moapa Valley (0-0) — The defending Southern Region champs return just one starter.

4. Desert Pines (0-1) — The Jaguars were second in the Sunset League last season at 8-2.

5. Pahrump Valley (1-0) — The Trojans look to improve on last season’s 12-14 record.

Class 2A

1. Democracy Prep (0-0) — Sharmayne Finley returns to lead the Blue Knights, who were second at state last season.

2. Needles (0-0) — The defending 2A state champs look for a return to state.

3. Lincoln County (0-0) — The Lynx went 12-4 in the league, and should be among the top contenders this season.

4. Laughlin (0-0) — The Cougars made the postseason for the first time since 2007 last season.

5. Lake Mead (0-0) — The Eagles return all five starters, and will look to improve on last year’s 9-14 record.

Class 1A

1. Pahranagat Valley (0-0) — The Panthers have won the league title in seven of last eight seasons.

2. Round Mountain (0-0) — Center Alyssa Hanks returns to lead the Knights.

3. Beatty (0-0) — The Hornets advanced to last seasons 1A league semifinals.

4. Tonopah (0-0) — The Muckers look to make their first state tournament appearance since 2014.

5. Beaver Dam (0-0) — The Diamondbacks look to build on last season’s 12-12 record.
