Class 4A
1. Centennial (7-0, LW 1) — The Bulldogs are at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix this week.
2. Liberty (5-0, LW 2) — The Patriots are in a bracket with Desert Oasis and Bishop Gorman at the Tarkanian Classic.
3. Spring Valley (6-2, LW 3) — The Grizzlies have not lost to a Nevada opponent this year.
4. Desert Oasis (5-0, LW 4) — Still undefeated, the Diamondbacks slither into the Tarkanian Classic.
5. Bishop Gorman (2-2, LW 5) — The Gaels make it three Southwest League teams in the top five.
6. Coronado (4-1, LW 6) — The Cougars tuned up for the Tarkanian Classic with a 77-32 last Friday.
7. Green Valley (8-1, LW 7) — The Gators play Rancho on Friday before hosting the Gator Winter Classic next week.
8. Cimarron-Memorial (8-2, LW 10) — The first change from last week’s rankings come courtesy of the Spartans, who have won four in a row.
9. Arbor View (6-3, LW unranked) — Like many local teams, the Aggies are in the Tarkanian Classic this week.
10. Faith Lutheran (5-4, LW 8) — The Crusaders are off until the West Coast Jamboree next week.
Class 3A
1. Pahrump Valley (8-2, LW 2) — The Trojans claim the top spot in the rankings after winning the Lady Bulldog Invitational.
2. Moapa Valley (9-1, LW 1) — The Pirates fell to Pahrump Valley in the Lady Bulldog Invitational title game.
3. Cheyenne (5-4, LW 5) — Having not played since Dec. 13, the Desert Shields remain off until Dec. 28.
4. Boulder City (6-3, LW 3) — The Eagles get a big test in the Gator Winter Classic next week, opening up against Coronado.
5. Virgin Valley (5-5, LW 4) — The Bulldogs are 3-1 in league play this year.
Class 2A
1. Democracy Prep (4-1, LW 1) — The Blue Knights face their toughest challenge yet in the Tarkanian Classic.
2. Needles (10-3, LW 3) — After a four-point loss last Friday, the Mustangs are eager for their next crack at Democracy Prep.
3. Lincoln County (8-1, LW 2) — The Lynx are off until next Thursday’s home game against Needles.
4. Lake Mead (5-4, LW 4) — The Eagles play Pahranagat Valley on Dec. 30.
5. Calvary Chapel (5-5, LW 5) — The Lions keep chugging along, seeking their first playoff berth since 2014.
Class 1A
1. Pahranagat Valley (7-2, LW 1) — The Panthers still own the top spot, as they have all season so far.
2. Round Mountain (7-3, LW 2) — The Knights are building off last year’s strong finish in the state tournament.
3. Beatty (1-3, LW 3) — The Hornets are off until they play at Round Mountain on Jan. 6.
4. Indian Springs (5-0, LW 4) — The Thunderbirds will only keep climbing in the rankings if they stay undefeated.
5. Word of Life (2-2, LW 5) — The Eagles’ next three games are against non-league opponents.
