Class 4A
1. Centennial (17-3, Last week 1) — No movement in the 4A rankings this week, and the Bulldogs stay on top.
2. Spring Valley (19-2, LW 2) — The Grizzlies solidified their spot atop the Southwest League standings with a 64-50 win at Desert Oasis on Tuesday.
3. Liberty (18-1, LW 3) — Rae Burrell’s homecoming is Wednesday when the Patriots visit Foothill.
4. Desert Oasis (15-3, LW 4) — The Diamondbacks play Coronado in the Big City Showdown at South Point on Saturday.
5. Bishop Gorman (6-12, LW 5) — The Gaels meet Liberty in the Big City Showdown this weekend.
6. Cimarron-Memorial (15-4, LW 6) — The Spartans have a chance for upset of the year at Centennial on Friday.
7. Green Valley (11-5, LW 7) — The Gators have dropped their first two league games.
8. Coronado (11-6, LW 8) — The Cougars will look to keep their hot start in league play going at Green Valley on Wednesday.
9. Arbor View (9-8, LW 9) — The Aggies are 3-2 in league play so far.
10. Canyon Springs (9-4, LW 10) — The Pioneers have won five in a row.
Class 3A
1. Moapa Valley (17-3, LW 1) — The path to the Sunrise League title runs through Overton.
2. Pahrump Valley (11-3, LW 2) — The Trojans take on previously ranked Cheyenne on Friday in Pahrump.
3. Virgin Valley (9-9, LW 5) —The Bulldogs have shot up the rankings with a 5-1 start in league play.
4. Boulder City (9-8, LW 4) — The Eagles rebounded from a tough loss to Moapa Valley to knock off Del Sol on Tuesday.
5. Mojave (7-3, LW unranked) — The Rattlers jump into the rankings after two league wins last week.
Class 2A
1. Lincoln County (14-3, LW 1) — The Lynx have only one loss to a Nevada team this year.
2. Democracy Prep (10-4, LW 2) — Sharmayne Finley seems like an easy choice for the 2A’s player of the year.
3. Needles (14-7, LW 3) — The Mustangs are fighting for a home playoff game when the postseason starts next month.
4. Calvary Chapel (8-7, LW 4) — The Lions host Democracy Prep in a big test Friday night.
5. Lake Mead (8-8, LW 5) —
Class 1A
1. Pahranagat Valley (11-3, LW 1) — The Panthers staked their claim to the top spot by fending off Round Mountain last Friday.
2. Round Mountain (9-4, LW 2) — The Knights dropped the battle for first place against Pahranagat Valley.
3. Indian Springs (6-0, LW 3) — Another week come, another week gone with the Thunderbirds undefeated.
4. Beatty (1-4, LW 4) — The Hornets are at Indian Springs next Tuesday.
5. Word of Life (6-3, LW 5) — The Eagles travel to Beatty on Friday.
