Roundup: Arbor View claims big Northwest League road win over Legacy

Autumn Westmoreland had 14 points Monday to lead Arbor View’s girls basketball game to a 55-51 road win over Legacy.

Alaysia Reed and Kylan Hernandez each scored 11 points for the Aggies, who moved to 8-3 in the Northwest League. Arbor View holds a half-game lead over Cimarron-Memorial (8-4) for the league’s No. 2 playoff seed.

Legacy’s Rory Carter led all scorers with 20 points.

Faith Lutheran 48, Palo Verde 45 — At Palo Verde, Kelsey Howryla and Kendall Larson each scored 15 points as the Crusaders defeated the Panthers.

Maya Bega led all scorers with 16 points for Palo Verde, which trailed 12-3 after one quarter.

Foothill 51, Coronado 41 — At Foothill, Aqui Williams and Bri Rosales each scored 10 points as the Falcons defeated the Cougars.

The Falcons outrebounded the Cougars, 37-19.

Coronado’s Haley Tyrell led all scorers with 18 points, and Aeryn Hawkins scored 11 points for the Cougars.

Cimarron-Memorial 58, Shadow Ridge 47 — At Cimarron, Amoura Whitney and Tasia Moore each scored 17 points as the Spartans beat the Mustangs.

Elise Young added 12 points for Cimarron, which led 14-4 after one quarter. The Spartans went 18-for-26 from the free-throw line.

Caitlyn Covington scored 14 to lead Shadow Ridge, which was just 3-for-20 from the line.

Green Valley 53, Basic 45 — At Green Valley, Quii Harmon had 12 points as the Gators defeated the Wolves.

Temerity Bauer added nine points for Green Valley, which outscored Basic 18-5 in the second quarter to take a 32-18 halftime lead.

Matisun Skirvin scored 12 points to lead Basic.

Mojave 73, Sunrise Mountain 33 — At Mojave, Kiara Lemon led all scorers with 22 points as the Rattlers rolled past the Miners.

Alecia Kelly scored 20 points, and Chania Scott added 10 points for Mojave, which opened the game on an 18-2 run.

Dior Griffith-Brown led Sunrise Mountain with 13 points.

Western 65, Desert Pines 47 — At Western, Adrianna Jones led a balanced attack with 15 points as the Warriors beat the Jaguars.

Millani Johnson added 12 points, Teresa Chapa scored 11 and Kiara Rinfrow 10 for Western. The Warriors outscored Desert Pines 26-12 in the third quarter to take a 56-38 lead.

Trisa Butler led Desert Pines with 12 points, and teammate Elasjanae Burns scored 10.

Liberty 65, Silverado 17 — At Liberty, Dre’una Edwards had 21 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots as the Patriots routed the Skyhawks.

London Pavlica added 15 points, five rebounds, six assists and seven steals for the Patriots, who led 27-2 after the first quarter.

Calvary Chapel 51, Lake Mead 35 — At Calvary Chapel, Tyra Perkins scored 24 points to lead the Lions over the Eagles.

Jialing Monaco added 10 points for Calvary Chapel, which held Lake Mead to 12 second-half points.

Josey White paced the Eagles with 13 points.

Laughlin 44, GV Christian 24 — At Laughlin, the Cougars used a 15-2 third-quarter run on their way to a win over the Guardians.

Laughlin led only 22-18 at the half, but extended the lead to 37-20 after three quarters.
