Roundup: Basic sinks late free throws to hold off Boulder City

Alexis Lea scored 10 points and was 4-for-4 from the free-throw line in the final 40 seconds to help Basic’s girls basketball team secure a 45-41 home victory over Boulder City on Tuesday night.

Jasmine Richardson had 11 points to lead the Wolves, who played the final minute with three players.

Keely Alexander scored 20 points, and Kailee Fisher had 10 points to lead the Eagles.

Legacy 36, Arbor View 32 — At Legacy, Aaliya Neal scored a game-high 16 points to help the Longhorns take care of the Aggies.

Damijah Yarbrough added seven points for Legacy, which trailed 28-26 after three quarters.

Alina Oranchak scored 10 points for Arbor View.

Bonanza 38, Pahrump Valley 34 — At Bonanza, Macyn Raleigh scored 14 points as the Bengals defeated the Trojans.

Isaira Diaz had 12 points, and Aaliyah Booker added 11 points for Bonanza, which overcame a 16-12 halftime deficit.

Kathyrn Daffer led Pahrump with 10 points.

Clark 69, Chaparral 23 — At Clark, Jamelia Coleman had 16 points as the Chargers routed the Cowboys.

Justice Unga had 12 points, and Alynnay Godfrey scored 10 for Clark, which led 31-7 after one quarter.

Canyon Springs 51, Foothill 20 — At Foothill, Kayla Johnson scored 14 points, and Sydnei Collier added 11 as the Pioneers drubbed the Falcons.

Rajah Thomas and Jeanette Fine supplied eight points apiece for Canyon Springs, which held Foothill scoreless in the second quarter and led 31-4 at halftime.

Aqui Williams led Foothill with seven points.

Shadow Ridge 46, Sierra Vista 26 — At Sierra Vista, Jamia Carter scored a game high 17 points as the Mustangs ran past the Mountain Lions.

Caitlyn Covington had seven points, and Vashay Young and Christina Thames each scored six for Shadow Ridge.

Shania Harper led Sierra Vista with nine points and nine rebounds.

Spring Valley 67, Green Valley 51 — At Spring Valley, Aaliyah Gayles scored 13 points to help the Grizzlies hold off the Gators.

Alexus Quaadman four assists, four blocks and four steals for Spring Valley, and Garrisen Freeman scored 12.

Shelby Clark scored 14 for Green Valley.

Desert Oasis 65, Cimarron-Memorial 39 — At Cimarron,Eliyjah Pricebrooks led four players in double figures with 18 points as the Jaguars easily handled the Spartans.

Ahmaya Smith scored 13 points, and Jordyn Stroud and Desi-Rae Young each added 11 points for Desert Oasis, which spurted to a 31-12 halftime lead.

Yesenia Wesley-Nash led all scorers with 21 points for Cimarron. Elise Young added 10 points for the Spartans.

Virgin Valley 50, Mojave 48 — At Mojave, Areli Ponce and Nathalie Lagamayo each had 14 points as the Bulldogs held off the Rattlers.

Alexis Boatright added 11 points for Virgin Valley, which led 18-8 after one quarter.

Mojave’s Alecia Kelly led all scorers with 20 points.

Tech 51, Del Sol 37 — At Del Sol, Tayler Muwwakkil scored 12 points, and the Roadrunners outscored the Dragons 25-17 in the second half to earn the win.

Sadiya Mayo added 10 points for Tech.

Markay Merchant scored a game-high 22 points to lead Del Sol.

Sunrise Mountain 53, Western 28 — At Sunrise Mountain, Markaila McCurdy had 29 points and 12 rebounds to help lead the Miners past the Warriors.

Aiyana Ramirez had six points and eight rebounds for Sunrise Mountain, which got 10 rebounds and eight steals from Trinity Lavoll.

Calvary Chapel 51, Rancho 35 — Olivia Bell and Midajah McCarty each scored 15 points as the Lions knocked off the Rams.

Tyra Perkins added 13 points ad eight rebounds for Calvary Chapel, which led 21-14 at halftime.

Saipress Jones led Rancho with 14 points.

Moapa Valley 41, SLAM Academy 22 — At Moapa Valley, Emma Humes had 11 points and four rebounds, and Andalin Hillstead had 10 points and seven rebounds as the Pirates topped the Bulls.

Kyla Bradshaw added eight points, and Kaitlyn Hopkins scored seven for Moapa Valley, which led 28-14 at halftime.

Zameeah Terry scored a game high 15 points for SLAM Academy.
