ROUNDUP: Beville guides Durango girls closer to playoffs

Tiarra Beville tallied 21 points, 17 rebounds, four steals and two assists Wednesday as Durango’s girls basketball team inched closer to a Sunset Region playoff spot with a 46-37 home win over Western.
Jasmine Thomas added 10 points, and Brea Belser had 10 rebounds for Durango, which used a 14-4 third-quarter run to erase a 28-23 halftime deficit.
The Trailblazers (14-12, 9-6 Southwest) need a win against Sierra Vista or a loss by Western (14-13, 8-7) in its final game against Desert Oasis on Friday to qualify for the postseason.
Naz Lockett paced the Warriors with 15 points.
Sierra Vista 72, Clark 55 — At Sierra Vista, Jeanette Jackson led four double-figure scorers with 21 points as the Mountain Lions downed the Chargers.
Jasmine Suarez added 13 points, and Marley Wakeen scored 12 points for Sierra Vista, which got 10 points from Melia Tadytin.
Michelle Garcia paced Clark with 19 points. Jacqueline Garcia scored 15, and Kiara Nesmith added 10 points for the Chargers.
Desert Oasis 57, Spring Valley 30 — At Spring Valley, Tatiana Kearn had 12 points, and the Diamondbacks held the Grizzlies to six points in the middle quarters in cruising to the win.
Sammi Tso added 11 points for Desert Oasis.
Jana Espiritu led Spring Valley with 10 points.
Bishop Gorman 53, Bonanza 6 — At Gorman, Amber Lane and Zhane Dikes each tallied 14 points as the Gaels completed a perfect Southwest League season by downing the Bengals.
Bonanza was held scoreless in the second half.
Centennial 87, Palo Verde 50 — At Palo Verde, Shannon Brown scored 20 points and Tamera Williams had 19 points as the Bulldogs routed the Panthers, wrapping up an undefeated trip through the Northwest League.
Courtney Hayes added 11 points, and Ashley Klemz chipped in 10 points for Centennial, which jumped out to a 48-27 halftime lead.
Nicole Ameli scored 13 points, Jasmin Kiley 11 and Dominique Bryant 10 for Palo Verde.
Mojave 47, Arbor View 30 — At Mojave, Jazzmine Robinson drained three 3-pointers en route to 11 points in the second quarter to help the Rattlers top the Aggies.
Robinson finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Jazmine Pedraza scored 11 for Mojave, which finished the game on a 14-0 run.
Jena Valenzuela paced Arbor View with 18 points.
Legacy 69, Shadow Ridge 12 — At Legacy, Latia Matthews had 22 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks as the Longhorns routed the Mustangs.
Makayla Hicks added 11 points and 20 rebounds for the Longhorns, who allowed only two second-half points.
Cimarron-Memorial 58, Faith Lutheran 47 — At Faith Lutheran, Traci Parks scored 19 points, and the Spartans used a 17-7 second-quarter run to pull away from the Crusaders.
Leilani Blanco added 10 points for Cimarron.
Kelsey McCourt had 14 points to lead Faith Lutheran.
Valley 76, Eldorado 37 — At Valley, Shayna Porter had 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists and six steals as the Vikings routed the Sundevils.
Estelle Wilson contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds for Valley.
Johnnie Green scored 11 points, and Dee Jackson had 10 points for Eldorado.
Canyon Springs 64, Chaparral 37 — At Canyon Springs, Cherise Beynon scored 17 points and the Pioneers jumped out to a 41-11 halftime lead on their way to a rout of the Cowboys.
Pearl Paulo added 10 points for Canyon Springs.
Octavia Gray tallied 14 points, and Tichina Savoy poured in 13 points for Chaparral.
Las Vegas 58, Rancho 49 — At Rancho, Shomari Harris scored 16 points, and Shauntovia Luckie added 14 points to help lead the Wildcats past the Rams.
Las Vegas used a 16-2 spurt in the second quarter to pull away.
Tryicia Payne led Rancho with 14 points, and teammate Kanosha Grey had 12 points.
Desert Pines 66, Sunrise Mountain 42 — At Sunrise Mountain, TaQuiyyah Boyles scored 23 points, and Leslie White scored 16 to lead the Jaguars past the Miners.
Cydney Myles added 10 points for Desert Pines.
Tiara Veal led Sunrise Mountain with 17 points.
Boulder City 42, Pahrump Valley 34 — At Pahrump, Karlee Koopman scored 16 points to lead the Eagles past the Trojans.
Boulder City outscored Pahrump 16-8 in the fourth quarter to claim the victory.
Alyson Kunzi had 14 points to lead the Trojans.
