ROUNDUP: Brooks, three more score in double figures in Shadow Ridge win

Sabriya Brooks had 14 points and 11 rebounds Friday to help Shadow Ridge’s girls basketball team to a 63-55 win over visiting Bonanza.
Angeline Almagure had 15 points, and Elisha Hensey added 13 points and six rebounds for the Mustangs. Niki Lawson scored 10 points for Shadow Ridge.
Daytril Beals scored 19 points and Alice Pitts had 17 for the Bengals.
Bishop Gorman 68, Bradshaw Christian (Calif.) 40 — At La Jolla, Calif., Amber Lane scored 17 points, and the Gaels exploded to a 23-2 first-quarter lead on their way to an easy win over Bradshaw Christian in the La Jolla Country Day Sweet 16 Invitational.
Aaryn Ellenberg added 16 points, and Julia Ewalefo came off the bench to score nine as the Gaels stretched their lead to 35-9 at the half and bumped it to as many as 40 points in the second half.
 
Green Valley 82, Spring Valley 28 — At Spring Valley, Jazmine Jarvis scored 23 points to help the Gators cruise past the Grizzlies.
Sarah Pickus added 18 points for Green Valley, which led 29-3 at the end of the first quarter.
Adrianna Flores-Proano led Spring Valley with 10 points.
Western 54, Eldorado 37 — At Western, Dareshoun Lee scored a game-high 20 points to help lift the Warriors past the Sundevils.
Michelle Simon added 10 points for the Warriors.
Jeronica Jerkins scored 16 points to lead Eldorado, which never recovered from a 13-2 first-quarter deficit.
Boulder City 49, Rancho 46 — At Rancho, Jessi Forrester scored 11 points as the Eagles hung on to earn a road win over the Rams.
Karlee Koopman added nine points for Boulder City.
Aisha Momodu scored 14 points, Maijah Williams had nine and Mariah Coleman added eight for Rancho.
Desert Oasis 45, Cimarron-Memorial 36 — At Desert Oasis, Tatiana Kearn scored 15 points to lead the Diamondbacks to a home win over the Spartans.
Auburn Smith added 12 points for Desert Oasis, which blitzed to a 17-3 first quarter lead and never looked back.
Leilani Blanco led Cimarron with eight points.
Palo Verde 55, Chaparral 38 — At Palo Verde, Jasmin Kiley scored 13 points to help the Panthers beat the Cowboys.
Alyssa Amoruso and Aundrea Perez added 10 points apiece for Palo Verde, which led 41-10 at halftime before holding off a Chaparral rally.
Janae Neuville scored 11 points to lead the Cowboys.
Battle Mountain 44, Faith Lutheran 43 — At Winnemucca, Alexis Johnson scored 27 points, and the Longhorns hit the winning shot off an inbound play with less than 10 seconds remaining to top Faith Lutheran in the Lowry Invitational.
Faith Lutheran rallied from a 28-21 halftime deficit to take a 43-42 lead on Kelsey McCourt’s 3-pointer with 20 seconds to go, but couldn’t hold on.
McCourt finished with 15 points.
Spanish Springs 48, Coronado 43 — At Coronado, Kaylie Humphreys scored 15 points as Spanish Springs held off Coronado.
Sofie Cruz had 11 points and six rebounds, and Jessica Smith scored 10 points for Coronado.
Spanish Springs 46, Durango 29 — At Durango, the visiting Cougars took a 13-7 lead after one quarter and put the game away with a 16-7 fourth-quarter run en route to a win.
 
Jasmine Suarez led the Trailblazers with nine points. Cherelle Hicks grabbed 10 rebounds for Durango.
Laughlin 45, Sandy Valley 18 — At Sandy Valley, the Cougars earned a road win over the Sidewinders.
Lincoln County 44, Moapa Valley 29 — At Calvary Chapel, Marissa Smerek scored 13 points, and Lincoln County bolted to a 25-13 lead on its way to a win over the Pirates in the Lake Mead Holiday Classic.
 
Morgan Christian added 12 points and Melanie Florence had 11 for the Lynx.
Shilo Parashonts led the Pirates with nine points.
West Wendover 35, Eureka 31 — At Elko, Danika Sharp scored 28 points for West Wendover as the Wolverines held off Eureka in the Elko Tournament.

Legacy and Canyon Springs couldn’t keep up in the Class 4A girls basketball state semifinals. The Southern Region representatives in 3A also were eliminated.
