ROUNDUP: Cheyenne girls hold on for road win

Amanda Fluker led a balanced attack with 12 points Thursday as visiting Cheyenne’s girls basketball team held off Shadow Ridge, 55-50.

Brenyatta Young added 10 points for the Desert Shields.

Elisha Hensey paced Shadow Ridge with 26 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Bethany Robertson and Sabriya Brooks each had nine rebounds for the Mustangs.

Centennial 82, Faith Lutheran 26 — At Centennial, Alexis Byrd had 26 points and 14 steals, and the Bulldogs held the Crusaders to eight second-half points in a romp.

Ashley Klemz scored 20 points, and Courtney Hayes added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Centennial.

Alex Treadwell paced Faith Lutheran with 10 points.

Arbor View 47, Cimarron-Memorial 34 — At Cimarron, Ashley Dawkins and Taylor Shields each scored 10 points to help the Aggies down the Spartans.

Arbor View used a 21-10 fourth quarter to pull away from Cimarron in a game that was tied at 11-11 at the half.

Leilani Blanco scored 16 points, and Tyler Simpson added 11 for the Spartans.

Mojave 53, Legacy 44 — At Legacy, Traci Parks had 17 points to lead the Rattlers past the Longhorns.

Jazzmine Robinson added 13 points and Clarissa Cannon scored 12 for Mojave, which overcame a 30-26 halftime deficit.

Silverado 64, Basic 56 — At Silverado, Shea Collins scored 29 points to lead the Skyhawks past the Wolves.

Natalie Lainhart added 15 points for Silverado.

Michaela Thomas led Basic with 23 points. Marquichea Burns added 13 points for the Wolves.

Liberty 56, Coronado 44 — At Liberty, Jade Washington scored 15 points, and the Patriots used a 23-14 second quarter to defeat the Cougars.

Amanda Delgado added 12 points, and Destiny Whitehead scored 10 for Liberty.

Nicole Ruffino led Coronado with 13 points.

Green Valley 64, Foothill 31 — At Green Valley, Jazmine Jarvis scored 18 points, and the Gators limited the Falcons to 11 first-half points.

Sarah Pickus scored 16 points, and Angelica Mack had 13 points and 10 rebounds for Green Valley.

Bri Higgins and Samantha Gruetner each scored seven points for the Falcons.

Canyon Springs 65, Eldorado 52 — At Eldorado, Kenosha Wright scored 21 points to lead Canyon Springs past the Sundevils.

Skotasia Thomas added 13 points for the Pioneers.

Jeronica Jerkins led Eldorado with 26 points.

Desert Pines 58, Valley 43 — At Desert Pines, LaBrea Walker had 26 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds to help the Jaguars down the Vikings.

TaQuiyyah Boyles added 12 points for Desert Pines, which led 29-18 at halftime. Claudia Meneses also contributed 10 points for the Jaguars.

Christina Davis scored 22 points for Valley.

Las Vegas 53, Chaparral 46 — At Las Vegas High, Shawntovia Luckie scored 13 points, and the Wildcats built an early 12-5 lead on their way to the win.

Natresha Bernard added 11 points and Shomari Harris 10 for Las Vegas.

Jacquie Ferguson scored 18 points and Janae Neuville added 10 for the Cowboys.

Rancho 43, Sunrise Mountain 37 — At Rancho, Ashley Gordon scored 12 points as the Rams edged Sunrise Mountain.

Elise Marshall had 10 points for the Miners.

Adelson School 55, Sandy Valley 31 — At Adelson School, Sueleika Blackwell scored 21 points as the Lions used a 24-10 halftime lead to hold off the Sidewinders.

Elie Steinberg added 12 points, and Alexes Settle scored 10 for Adelson.

Christian Auer led Sandy Valley with eight points.
