ROUNDUP: Cochran’s double-double propels Liberty girls past Arbor View

Daynice Cochran had 15 points and 23 rebounds as Liberty’s girls basketball team earned a 52-37 home win over Arbor View on Tuesday.

Jade Washington added 19 points and 10 assists for the Patriots, who outscored the Aggies 21-8 in the fourth quarter.

Phoebe Baker scored 10 points for Liberty.

Jena Valenzuela led Arbor View with 12 points.

Silverado 57, Cimarron-Memorial 50 — At Cimarron, Shea Collins scored seven of her 13 points in the fourth quarter to help Silverado rally from a 36-33 deficit to down the Spartans.

Mikayla Thielges led the Skyhawks with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Alena Evans added 11 points, going 4-for-4 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter.

Catherine Wyre paced Cimarron with 24 points and 14 rebounds.

Rancho 56, Mojave 49 — At Rancho, the Rams held the Rattlers to 18 second-half points to earn the victory.

Khalia Branch scored 19 to lead three Rams in double figures. Shayna Porter-Banks and Stephanie Thompson each added 14 points for Rancho.

Mojave’s Jazzmine Robinson led all scorers with 21 points. Shanae Ireland added 12 points for the Rattlers.

Del Sol 51, Desert Oasis 42 — At Desert Oasis, Amy Austin had 27 points as the Dragons downed the Diamondbacks.

Alexis Caulk scored 12 points and Auburn Smith 11 to lead Desert Oasis.

Legacy 65, Eldorado 57 — At Eldorado, Adriona Jordan had 19 points and Kindrea Poole scored 16, and the Longhorns jumped to a 18-2 first-quarter advantage and went on to beat the Sundevils.

Eldorado’s Sabrina Evans had 12 points and Gianna Lafayette had 11 points and four steals.

Basic 50, Chaparral 48 — At Chaparral, Michaela Thomas scored 22 points as the Wolves nipped the Cowboys. 

Chaparral outscored Basic by 18 points in the second half, but the Wolves held on for the win. 

Natriana Shorter scored 17 points and Desiree Pierce had 15 points and five steals for the Cowboys.

Foothill 60, Cheyenne 27 — At Foothill, Mercedes Starr hit six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to lead the Falcons past the Desert Shields.

Brigitte Rigon added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Foothill.

Shaunice Cameron led Cheyenne with 13 points.

Desert Pines 54, Shadow Ridge 50 — At Shadow Ridge, LaBrea Walker scored 17 points and Clarissa Davis 15 as the Jaguars edged the Mustangs.

Andrea Jefferson added 13 points for Desert Pines.

Elisha Hensey had 22 points, seven assists and five rebounds for Shadow Ridge.

Coronado 49, Las Vegas 25 — At Las Vegas, Stacy Rapp had nine points as the Cougars used a balanced attack to defeat the Wildcats.

Lindsay Decker added eight points for Coronado, which outscored Las Vegas 15-5 in the second quarter to take a 21-11 halftime advantage.

Palo Verde 68, Canyon Springs 31 — At Palo Verde, Hayley Henderson had 21 points as the Panthers routed the Pioneers.

Zadous Pollard and Jasmin Kiley each scored 12 for Palo Verde.

Palo Verde outscored Canyon Springs 23-2 in the first quarter.

Kenesha Wright led the Pioneers with eight points.

Green Valley 76, Valley 44 — At Green Valley, Jazmine Jarvis had 20 points, 10 assists and six steals to lead the Gators over the Vikings.

Danielle Christenson added 16 points for Green Valley, and teammate Sarah Pickus had 14 points and seven rebounds.

Valley’s Vanessa Corona netted 14 points. Iris Barahona added 10.

Boulder City 61, River Valley (Ariz.) 34 — At River Valley, Caiti Forrester had 38 points and five steals to lead the Eagles to victory.

Mountain View 66, Beatty 32 — At Beatty, Ellie Markwardt had 29 points and eight steals to lead the Saints over the Hornets. 

Patrice Marshall added 12 points for Mountain View, and teammate Chardae Page scored 11.

Briana Marruffo added seven points, seven assists and seven rebounds for the Saints.

Kaci Shroeder scored 10 for the Hornets.

Laughlin 48, Henderson International 16 — At Henderson International, the Cougars used runs of 19-3 in the first quarter and 16-4 in the third quarter to put away the Wolverines.

Lauren Mushkin scored 10 points for the Wolverines.

West Wendover 67, Christian Heritage (Utah) 38 — At West Wendover, Danika Sharp had 33 points as the Wolverines rolled.

Sharp was 13-for-20 from the field and hit four 3-pointers. Estela Botello added 14 points for West Wendover.
