ROUNDUP: Darje Martin, Rancho girls take over in OT, down Chaparral

Darje Martin scored 16 points, and Rancho’s girls basketball team used an 11-3 run in overtime Thursday to down host Chaparral, 53-45.
Kanosha Grey supplied 13 points for the Rams, who converted 27 of 39 free throws, including 7 of 9 by Martin and Miyah Wilson in the extra period.
Mary Manjarrec and Kiona Gray each scored 10 points to lead the Cowboys.
Coronado 48, Silverado 43 — At Coronado, Sofie Cruz poured in 22 points as the Cougars raced to a 20-2 first-quarter lead and held on to defeat the Skyhawks.
Kealy Brown chipped in 11 points for Coronado, which went 10-for-13 from the free-throw line.
Brittany Loguidice scored 16 points, and Jessica Meyers had 13 points for Silverado, which outscored Coronado 33-16 in the middle quarters.
Canyon Springs 59, Valley 54 — At Valley, Cherise Beynon scored 17 points as the Pioneers built a 20-point lead midway through the third quarter and held off the Vikings.
Mandy Chitwood and Pearl Paulo each added 16 points for Canyon Springs.
Kennedy Wharton paced the Vikings with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Tyricia Payne had 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals for Valley.
Green Valley 64, Tech 46 — At Green Valley, Angelica Mack collected 20 points and 14 rebounds to help the Gators top the Roadrunners.
Rebecca Arthur added 15 points, and Maggie Manwarren scored 14 for Green Valley.
Kristena Wilson paced Tech with 21 points, and teammate Cristina Tatsanaram scored 12 points.
Basic 64, Del Sol 35 — At Basic, Kailai Brantner scored 13 points to lead a balanced attack as the Wolves cruised to an easy win over the Dragons.
Dana Deloney had 12 points, Raevyn Allen added 11 points, and Feti Sini contributed 10 points for Basic.
Desiree Orozco led Del Sol with eight points.
Las Vegas 84, Desert Pines 53 — At Las Vegas High, Matti Ventling poured in 29 points, and the Wildcats stormed to a 30-10 first-quarter lead on their way to a win over the Jaguars.
Shaleea Butler and Shomari Harris each added 12 points for Las Vegas, which got 10 points from Mariah Wilson.
Kiana Alexander paced Desert Pines with 23 points. Cydney Myles added 14 points, and Leslie White scored 10 for the Jaguars.
Sunrise Mountain 43, Eldorado 34 — At Eldorado, Da’Nisha Wedlow scored 10 points, and the Miners used an 18-6 third-quarter run to down the Sundevils.
Allyah Swain had 15 points to lead Eldorado.
Pahranagat Valley 47, Virgin Valley 46 — At Alamo, Kimberly Lewis had 19 points and 11 rebounds as the Panthers outlasted the Bulldogs.
Bailee Hosier added 13 points for Pahranagat Valley, which led 27-12 at the half before holding on.
Abbie Barnard had 24 points for Virgin Valley, which made 2-of-3 free throws in the closing seconds to narrowly miss a chance at overtime.
