ROUNDUP: Ellenberg rattles off 41 to lead Gorman girls

Aaryn Ellenberg scored 41 points Saturday to help Bishop Gorman’s girls basketball team to a 72-57 win over visiting Mount Miguel (Calif.).
Ellenberg outscored Mount Miguel in the first half, racking up 23 points as Gorman took a 40-20 halftime lead.
Chelsie Pitt added 11 points for the Gaels.
Liberty 59, Basic 43 — At Liberty, Amanda Delgado scored 18 points, and Liberty used a 21-10 second-quarter burst to tame the Wolves.
Jade Washington and Destiny Whitehead combined for 15 points in the second quarter and each finished with 12 points.
Marquichea Burns led Basic with 14 points, and Michaela Thomas added 10.
Tech 49, Faith Lutheran 46 — At Faith Lutheran, Mesha Phillips had 15 points, and Tech grabbed started the game on a 15-3 run before holding on to edge the Crusaders.
Adriana Heredia added 12 points, and Julie Harless scored 10 for the Roadrunners.
Ashley Green paced the Crusaders with 13 points.
Needles 79, White Pine 43 — At Ely, Alex Chandler, Gena Chavira and Kristen Aruthur combined to score 72 points, and Needles never looked back after taking a 20-2 first-quarter lead.
Chandler finished with 27 points. Chavira added 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Arthur had 22 points and 13 rebounds.
 
Alex Hall led the Bobcats with 16 points.
Lincoln County 63, Agassi Prep 36 — At Agassi Prep, Marissa Smerek scored 18 points as the Lynx rolled past the Stars.
Kori Gloeckner and Melanie Florence added 14 points each for Lincoln County, which led 23-1 after the first quarter.
Kayla Johnson led Agassi Prep with 12 points.
West Wendover 75, The Meadows 13 — At West Wendover, Danika Sharp scored 34 points to lead the Wolverines in a rout of the Mustangs.
Sharp hit seven 3-pointers for West Wendover, which led 42-7 at the half.
Graceanne Warburton led The Meadows with six points.
Lake Mead 47, Tonopah 31  At Lake Mead, Jordan Clarke scored 14 points, and Lake Mead used a 14-3 third-quarter burst to put away the Muckers.
Jocelyn Cox added 11, and Emily Dean pitched in 10 points for the Eagles.
Britney Klapper led Tonopah with 11 points.
Henderson International 56, Round Mountain 27 — At Henderson International, Brittany Huff scored seven points during a 19-2 second-quarter run and finished with 12 points and 13 steals as the Wolverines downed Round Mountain.
Lee Harrison had 15 points, seven rebounds and four steals for Henderson International, which opened up an 8-6 first-quarter lead to 39-10 entering the fourth quarter.
Kattrena Akers paced the Knights with eight points.
Lund 30, Trinity 19 — At Mirabelli Gym, Ale Vegas scored 12 points, and the Mustangs outscored Trinity 23-16 in the second half for the win.
Danielle Noll led the Thunder with eight points.
