ROUNDUP: Ganeva, Palo Verde girls tame Grizzlies

Ivana Ganeva scored 15 points Saturday to lead Palo Verde’s girls basketball team to a 48-33 Northwest League win over host Spring Valley.

Ioana Ganeva added 14 points, and Nallah Thomas scored 11 for the Panthers, who outscored Spring Valley 18-2 in the second quarter to take a 27-15 lead.

Krystal McKnight led the Grizzlies with 12 points.

Centennial 71, Mount Miguel (Calif.) 30 —
At Bishop Gorman, Jada Brown had 18 points to help the Bulldogs roll to the win.

Breanna Workman added 15 points for Centennial, which led 26-8 after one quarter.

Bishop’s School (Calif.) 67, Bishop Gorman 58 —
At Bishop Gorman, Imani Littleton had 13 of her game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Knights over the Gaels.

Devon Roeper added 23 points for Bishop’s School, which outscored Gorman 23-13 in the fourth quarter.

April Rivers led the Gaels with 20 points. Tonisha Childress added 13 points, and teammate Raychel Stanley scored 10 for Gorman.

Moapa Valley 47, Pahranagat Valley 35 —
At Overton, Emily Mills and Kimberly Lewis each scored 12 points to power the Pirates past the Panthers.

Moapa Valley outscored Pahranagat Valley 30-20 in the second half.

Traci Strong and Jamie Hansen each had 11 points for the Panthers, who got 10 points from Bailee Hosier.

Calvary Chapel 50, Mountain View 31 — At Mountain View, Chloe Hammond scored 13 points to lead the Lions over the Saints.

Lianne Reyes added 11 points, and Phallen Nelson scored 10 for Calvary Chapel, which led 16-6 after one quarter.

Caitlyn Martin led Mountain View with nine points.

The Meadows 40, Agassi Prep 30 — At Agassi Prep, Anjali Daulat and Melaney Mayes each had eight points to lead the Mustangs over the Stars.

Kareema Webb scored nine points to lead Agassi.

Lincoln County 61, Laughlin 19 — At Panaca, Kaylee Teel and Jillyn Katschke each scored 10 points as the Lynx routed the Cougars.

Jaycee Wadsworth added eight points for Lincoln County, which led 21-2 after one quarter.

Cassie Beggs scored 15 for Laughlin.
