ROUNDUP: Harless, second-half push drive Foothill girls past Tech

Cheryl Harless scored 20 points, and Foothill’s girls basketball team used a 15-5 third-quarter run Monday on its way to a 55-43 win over visiting Tech.

Breanna Frazer added 13 points, and Taylor Collins had six blocked shots for the Falcons, who improved to 12-9 overall and 7-3 in the Southeast League, where they grabbed a hold of sole possession of second place — one game ahead of Coronado and Green Valley.

Adriana Heredia drained seven 3-pointers for 21 points for Tech, which got 20 points from Mesha Phillips.

Cheyenne 55, Faith Lutheran 52 — At Cheyenne, Britnee Shaw scored 17 points and the Desert Shields held off the Crusaders.

Jenae Brown added 11 points for Cheyenne, which led 41-33 entering the fourth quarter.

Joi Goynes led Faith Lutheran with 16 points, and teammates Kelsey McCourt and Taylor Hammer each added 10 points.

Sierra Vista 54, Pahrump Valley 46 — At Sierra Vista, Marley Wakeen scored 16 points to lead the Mountain Lions past the Trojans.

Jasmine Suarez and Melia Tadytin each added 10 points for the Mountain Lions, who led 50-33 entering the fourth quarter.

Taylor Ball led the Trojans with 20 points, and teammate Alyson Kunzi scored 16.

Durango 49, Spring Valley 38 — At Durango, Tiarra Beville scored 13 points to help the Trailblazers down the Grizzlies.

Cindy Klinhom added 10 points for Durango.

Jessica Stevens had 14 points and Shauna Patterson 12 for Spring Valley.

Desert Oasis 50, Clark 34 — At Clark, Tatiana Kearn had 11 of her 15 points in the second half as the Diamondbacks rallied to beat the Chargers.

Sammi Tso added 11 points for Desert Oasis, which trailed 25-17 at the half.

Michelle Garcia led Clark with 14 points, and Jacqueline Garcia added 10 points for the Diamondbacks.

Silverado 67, Del Sol 40 — At Silverado, Natalie Lainhart had 26 points and 17 rebounds as the Skyhawks rolled the Dragons.

Brittany Loguidice added 12 points for Silverado, which led 42-17 at the half.

Jasmine Lewis led Del Sol with 12 points.

Palo Verde 66, Cimarron-Memorial 46 — At Cimarron, Nicole Ameli had 25 points to help the Panthers cruise past the Spartans.

Jasmin Kiley added 21 points, and Alyssa Amoruso scored 10 for Palo Verde, which led 63-30 entering the fourth quarter.

Traci Parks had 20 points, and Tyler Simpson scored 10 for Cimarron.

Legacy 66, Arbor View 34 — At Legacy, Shakita Cox had 15 points, and the Longhorns sprinted to a 22-3 lead after one quarter en route to the easy win.

Candice McFarland added 10 points for Legacy.

Jessica Cook had 11 points for the Aggies.

Centennial 92, Shadow Ridge 22 — At Shadow Ridge, Ashley Klemz had 23 points as the Bulldogs routed the Mustangs.

Tamera Williams added 19 points for Centennial, which got 15 points from Shelby Valentine and 10 points from Courtney Hayes.

Alyssa Pagala paced Shadow Ridge with 10 points.

Liberty 81, Basic 39 — At Liberty, Jade Washington had 18 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds as the Patriots moved to within one win of clinching at least a share of the Southeast title by routing the Wolves.

Destiny Whitehead added 18 points, six steals and six rebounds, and Amanda Delgado supplied 16 points, seven assists and four rebounds for Liberty (19-2, 10-0), which got 14 points and 10 rebounds from Alena Evans.

Shanice Valentine paced Basic with 11 points.

Bishop Gorman 58, Western 17 — At Western, Amber Lane had 15 points as the Gaels rolled to a win over the Warriors.

Zhane Dikes added 14 points for Gorman, which led 17-4 after one quarter.

Moapa Valley 51, Bonanza 38 — At Bonanza, Amanda Campbell had 10 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Pirates past the Bengals.

Ashley Noto added eight points for Moapa Valley, which outscored Bonanza, 24-1 in the third quarter.

Denetrius Martin led Bonanza with 19 points, and Tranee Jenkins scored 11 for the Bengals.
