ROUNDUP: Heredia’s 32 gives Tech girls upset of host Silverado

Adriana Heredia poured in 32 points Friday to help Tech’s girls basketball team top host Silverado, 57-51.

Mesha Phillips added 12 points for the Roadrunners, who rallied from a 15-5 deficit entering the second quarter.

Tech made 16 of 19 free throws.

Natalie Lainhart led Silverado with 17 points. Brittany Loguidice added 14 points for the Skyhawks.

Green Valley 68, Basic 50 — At Basic, Maggie Manwarren and Shavon Stevens combined for 17 points during a 28-4 third-quarter run that propelled the Gators past the Wolves.

Stevens finished with 18 points, Mackenzie Butler added 15 points, and Manwarren scored 13.

Angelica Mack supplied 10 points for the Gators.

Kailai Brantner paced Basic with 19 points. Shanice Valentine scored 11 for Basic.

Coronado 36, Foothill 32 — At Foothill, Sofie Cruz scored 11 points, and the Cougars held off the Falcons’ late comeback bid.

Katie Bittner added seven points for Coronado, which took a 27-19 lead into the fourth quarter.

Julie Harless led Foothill with eight points.

Liberty 52, Del Sol 22 — At Liberty, the Patriots led 22-0 after four minutes and cruised to the win.

Amanda Delgado led Liberty with 10 points. Jade Washington added seven points, six assists and five steals, and Chanel Nacua had six points and 14 rebounds for the Patriots.

Chaparral 41, Desert Pines 36 — At Chaparral, Jacquie Ferguson had 13 points and 13 rebounds to help the Cowboys top the Jaguars.

Rebecca Vasquez added 11 points for the Cowboys, who took a 17-9 first-quarter lead and held on.

TaQuiyyah Boyles and Kiana Alexander scored 10 points apiece for the Jaguars.

Canyon Springs 61, Sunrise Mountain 19 — At Sunrise Mountain, Kenosha Wright and Cherise Beynon each had 12 points, and the Pioneers built leads of 40-7 at the half and 53-9 after three quarters en route to an easy win.

Bianca Johnson added 11 points for Canyon Springs.

Valley 64, Las Vegas 47 — At Valley, Christina Davis scored 19 points to help the Vikings cruise past the Wildcats.

Estelle Wilson had 12 points and 16 rebounds for Valley, and teammate Ashley Johnson added five points and nine rebounds.

Matti Ventling led Las Vegas with 20 points. Shomari Harris scored 11 for the Wildcats.

Centennial 54, Faith Lutheran 26 — At Faith Lutheran, Breanna Workman scored 19 points to lift the Bulldogs past the Crusaders.

Denajha Kie added eight points for Centennial, which scored 23 fourth-quarter points to seal the game.

Kelsey McCourt led the Crusaders with 12 points.

Western 70, Bonanza 43 — At Western, Naz Lockett scored 27 points to lead the Warriors past the Bengals.

Brandi Jackson added 20 points for Western, which scored 31 points in the third quarter to take over.

Tranee Jenkins scored 20 points to lead Bonanza.

Boulder City 70, Moapa Valley 47 — At Overton, Mallory Bird had 14 points to lead the Eagles past the Pirates.

Taylor McKeever added 12 points and Karlee Koopman scored 11 for Boulder City.

Brianna Harding led Moapa Valley with 12 points, and teammate Ashley Noto scored 12.

Lincoln County 47, Needles 32 — At Panaca, Melanie Florence scored 15 points, and the Lynx used a 14-4 run in the fourth quarter to put away the game.

Tia Florence added 12 points for Lincoln County.

Gena Chavira and Abby Chandler each tallied 13 points for the Mustangs.

Calvary Chapel 44, Agassi Prep 42 — At Agassi Prep, the Lions took over in the final two minutes to defeat the Stars.

Deja Harris and Marissa Bonnefin each scored 10 points to lead Calvary Chapel.

Mary Johnson led Agassi Prep with 10 points.

Mountain View 48, Tonopah 31 — At Mountain View, Patrice Marshall scored 22 points to help the Saints roll to a victory over the Muckers.

Briana Marruffo had 12 points, six rebounds and six steals to help Mountain View, and teammate

Jordan Davison added four points and seven steals.

Lund 38, Indian Springs 27 — At Indian Springs, the Mustangs jumped ahead early and held on to beat the Thunderbirds.

Melynda Boren paced the Mustangs with 17 points.

Heather Thornmahlen scored 12 points to lead Indian Springs.
