Roundup: Lincoln County edges Demcracy Prep

Sadie Soderborg scored 17 points, and Lincoln County’s girls basketball team scored a 48-42 home victory over Democracy Prep on Friday night.

Brynlee Wadsworth added 13 points for the Lynx, and Brooklyn Hafen scored 10 points.

Blue Knights guard Sharmayne Finley led all scorers with 22 points.

Bishop Gorman 70, Clark 32 — At Bishop Gorman, Shaira Young scored 12 points to lead the Gaels to a victory over the Chargers.

Bentleigh Hoskins scored 11 points for Gorman.

Chargers guard Mareika Dent led all scorers with 15 points.

Pahrump Valley 58, Western 43 — At Pahrump, Alyvia Briscoe led all scorers with 16 points as the Trojans clinched the No. 1 seed in the 3A Sunset League with their victory over the Warriors.

Kahtryn Daffer added 10 points for Pahrump.

Rai’na Davis led Western with 15 points.

Bonanza 42, Sunrise Mountain 39 — At Sunrise Mountain, Kerianne Reilly led all scorers with 18 points as the Bengals defeated the Miners in overtime.

Rayanna LeFear had 10 points for Bonanza.

Dior Griffith-Brown Sunrise Mountain with 15 points, and teammate Laila Whittington scored 14.

Calvary Chapel 49, Laughlin 15 — At Calvary Chapel, Tyra Perkins had 24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 steals to lift the Lions to a decisive victory over the Cougars.

Savannah Santillano led Laughlin with six points.

Round Mountain 49, Beaver Dam 27 — At Littlefield, Arizona, the Knights defeated the Diamondbacks.
