ROUNDUP: Parks debuts to lead Mojave girls past Cimarron

Sophomore forward Traci Parks scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds in her season debut Wednesday as Mojave’s girls basketball team collected a 65-45 win at Cimarron-Memorial.
Clarissa Cannon had 15 points and five rebounds, and Jazzmine Robinson added 11 points for Mojave, which led 36-19 at halftime.
Leilani Blanco had 17 points, and Tyler Simpson and Kiana Carter added 10 apiece for Cimarron.
Legacy 49, Cheyenne 41 — At Legacy, Kendra Irving and Breanah Manley each scored 12 points to lead the Longhorns past the Desert Shields.
Hannah Tatum had 10 points for Cheyenne.
Palo Verde 58, Arbor View 47 — At Arbor View, Jasmin Kiley scored 19 points and Lily Tapusoa added 10 as the Panthers downed the Aggies.
Erika Lang led Arbor View with 16 points, and Ashley Dawkins chipped in 13.
Shadow Ridge 54, Faith Lutheran 44 — At Shadow Ridge, Elisha Hensey had 16 points and seven assists, and Bethany Robertson added 11 points and 16 rebounds as the Mustangs ran past the Crusaders.
Sabriya Brooks chipped in 11 points for Shadow Ridge.
Alex Treadwell scored 18 points and Taylor Hammer added 11 for Faith Lutheran.
Las Vegas 57, Rancho 52 — At Rancho, Shomari Harris scored 16 points and Courtney Ladson added 11 as the visiting Wildcats held on to beat the Rams.
Aisha Momodu tallied 20 points for Rancho, and Mariah Coleman added 12.
Canyon Springs 52, Chaparral 43 — At Canyon Springs, Skotasia Thomas scored 10 points as the Pioneers defeated the Cowboys.
Janae Neuville scored 16 points for Chaparral.
Desert Pines 63, Sunrise Mountain 29 — At Sunrise Mountain, LaBrea Walker and Claudia Meneses each scored 19 points to help lead the Jaguars past the Miners.
TaQuiyyah Boyles contributed 11 points for Desert Pines.
Elise Marshall scored eight points for Sunrise Mountain.
Valley 49, Eldorado 40 — At Eldorado, Christina Davis tallied 16 points and Jessica Walton supplied 11 as the Vikings used a 20-5 third quarter outburst to rally past the Sundevils.
Casey Bradshaw and Johnice Green each scored 10 points for Eldorado, which held a 19-15 halftime lead.
