ROUNDUP: Rancho girls rally to beat Eldorado

Aneli Torres scored the tying basket with 13 seconds left Tuesday, and Khalia Branch hit the winner after a steal of the inbounds pass as Rancho rallied past visiting Eldorado, 45-43.

The Rams trailed by seven points with five minutes left but trimmed the deficit to two before Torres’ only basket of the game tied the score.

Branch, who scored nine of her 20 points in the fourth quarter, then hit the winning shot.

GIanna Lafayette led the Sundevils with 21 points.

Desert Pines 66, Chaparral 31 — LaBrea Walker and TaQuiyyah Boyles each had 17 points as the Jaguars rolled.

Clarissa Davis added 16 points for Desert Pines, which led 20-5 after one quarter.

Desiree Pierce led Chaparral with 11 points.

Valley 55, Las Vegas 46 — At Valley, Vanessa Corona scored 19 points to lead the Vikings past the Wildcats.

Nickolett Corona added 11 points for Valley.

Monica Magana led Las Vegas with 13 points.

Canyon Springs 53, Western 47 — At Western, Kenosha Wright scored 14 points, and Canyon Springs held on after taking a 27-16 halftime lead.

Melanie Russell led the Warriors with 19 points. Tracy Parks had eight points and 13 rebounds for Western.

Bishop Gorman 74, Pahrump Valley 36 — At Pahrump Valley, Aaryn Ellenberg scored 23 points and Dannielle Diamant had 21 to lead the Gaels past the Trojans.

Gorman led 29-25 at the half. Ellenberg and Diamant combined to score 20 points in a 28-7 third-quarter run.

Yahindra Edwards scored 11 points and Mackenzie Butler added 10 for the Gaels.

Kristi Daffer scored 12 and Toi Simmons added nine for the Trojans.

Bonanza 48, Clark 43 — At Clark, Christin Figgins scored 23 points as the Bengals withstood a second-half rally by the Chargers.

Bonanza led 25-15 at the half, but Clark pulled to within 36-34 after three quarters.

Tristian Hall had 13 rebounds and Aimee Doyle 11 for Bengals.

Angelena Cook led the Chargers with 15 points. Tarah Murph had eight points and 17 rebounds, and Alicia Wilbert grabbed 10 rebounds.

Durango 56, Desert Oasis 32 — At Durango, Cherelle Hicks scored 20 points and Mia Bell added 13 as the Trailblazers beat the Diamondbacks.

Kristen Gaines pulled down 11 rebounds to go with her four points for Durango.

Alexus Caulk had 13 points to lead Desert Oasis.

Sierra Vista 55, Spring Valley 32 — At Sierra Vista, the Lions jumped to a 36-8 halftime lead on their way to an easy win.

Teena Baxter led Sierra Vista with 18 points, and Jeanette Jackson scored 13.

Jessica Davis scored eight points for Spring Valley.

Faith Lutheran 53, Lake Mead 23 — At Faith Lutheran, Kiah Mayo scored 10 points to lead the Crusaders over the Eagles.

Kelsey McCourt and Joi Goynes both added eight points for Faith Lutheran.

Mikayla Louder scored six points for Lake Mead.

Agassi Prep 27, The Meadows 26 — At Agassi Prep, Noelle Chavez scored a game-high 15 points as the Stars nipped the Mustangs.

Briana Guillory added eight points for Agassi Prep.

Adelaide Lopez scored nine points and Katherine Chakaman eight for The Meadows.

Mountain View 44, Calvary Chapel 22 — At Calvary Chapel, Ellie Markwardt was 6-for-13 from 3-point range, finishing with 30 points, as the Saints routed the Lions.

Markwardt had 12 points in the first quarter as Mountain View took a 17-0 lead.

Sammie Mann scored 18 for Calvary Chapel.
