Roundup: Shadow Ridge edges Palo Verde in overtime

Caitlyn Covington scored 13 points Friday to help Shadow Ridge’s girls basketball team top host Palo Verde 51-45 in overtime
Christina Thames added 11 points for the Mustangs, who outscored the Panthers 12-6 in overtime.
Alyssa Maillaro scored 18 points for the Panthers, and teammate Carissa Salazar added 12 points.
Liberty 51, Coronado 41 — At Coronado, Starr Walker scored 17 points to lead the Patriots past the Cougars.
Taysia Tovia added 12 points for Liberty, which led 26-19 at halftime.
Haley Morton scored 10 points to lead the Cougars.
Spring Valley 78, Cimarron-Memorial 51 — At Spring Valley, Chelsea Camara scored 16 points to lead the Grizzlies past the Spartans.
Rory Carter and Chyna Charles each scored 12 points, Garrisen Freeman had 11 points, and Ella Zanders added 10 points for Spring Valley, which led 43-24 at the half.
Elise Young and Mary Jane Williams-Law each scored 11 points to lead the Spartans. Yesenia Wesley-Nash added 10 points for Cimarron.
Bishop Gorman 66, Durango 12 — At Durango, Olivia Smith had 14 points as the Gaels routed the Trailblazers.
Georgia Ohiaeri added 13 points, and Lexi Kruljac and Tierney Holcombe each scored nine for Gorman, which led 23-3 after one quarter.
Ty’ja McKinney had nine points for Durango.
Moapa Valley 46, Virgin Valley 40 — At Mesquite, Kaitlyn Anderson scored 24 points to lead the Pirates past the Bulldogs.
Lainey Cornwall added 12 points for Moapa Valley, which led 34-33 after three quarters.
Nathalie Lagamayo scored 18 points to lead Virgin Valley.
Sky Pointe 54, Founders Academy 28 — At Sky Pointe, Jayden Sanders scored 20 points to lead the Eagles past Centurions.
Jocelyn Sanders scored 13 points, and Trinity Rangel added 12 points for Sky Pointe, which outscored Founders, 20-2 in the second quarter.
Lake Mead 29, The Meadows 23 — At The Meadows, Shelbi Shaw scored 12 points to help the Eagles top the Mustangs.
Lauryn Freund added nine points for Lake Mead, which led 10-2 after one quarter.
Arianna Jones led The Meadows with seven points.
Lincoln County 47, Mountain View 6 — At Panaca, Kendra Mathews led a balanced attack with nine points as the Lynx routed the Saints.
Alexis Long, Keely Jackson and Sadie Soderborg each added six points for Lincoln County, which led 26-2 at the half.
Word of Life 26, Indian Springs 13 — At Indian Springs, Taliyah Wilson scored 14 points to lead the Eagles past the Thunderbirds.
Martina DuBray scored seven points to lead Indian Springs.
Calvary Chapel 57, Laughlin 26 — At Laughlin, the Lions outscored the Cougars, 32-11 in the second half to pull away for the win.
