ROUNDUP: Skyhawks put down visiting Gators

Shea Collins tallied 29 points and eight assists Thursday to lead Silverado’s girls basketball team to a 74-66 win over visiting Green Valley.

Natalie Lainhart added 26 points, and Diamond Wright pulled down 17 rebounds for the Skyhawks. Kaitlin Keathley supplied nine points, nine rebounds and six assists for Silverado.

Sarah Pickus scored 25 points, and Jazmine Jarvis added 17 for Green Valley, which led 25-18 after one quarter.

Liberty 61, Tech 21 — At Tech, the Patriots used a 34-8 second-half burst to rout the Roadrunners.

Daynice Cochran scored 14 points, and Amanda Delgado supplied 13 points for Liberty.

Julie Harless had seven points for Tech, which was held to only eight points in the second half.

Basic 54, Coronado 48 — At Coronado, Kailai Brantner scored 18 points as the Wolves used an 18-9 first quarter run to defeat the Cougars.

Brielle Wilke added 10 points for Basic.

Jessica Smith scored 14 points, and Sofie Cruz chipped in 10 for Coronado.

Foothill 60, Del Sol 22 — At Foothill, Alysse Thummel scored 11 points to lead the Falcons in a rout of Del Sol.

Kim Chischillie paced the Dragons with seven points.

Centennial 82, Legacy 49 — At Legacy, Alexis Byrd scored 28 points and the visiting Bulldogs used a 53-20 second-half burst to pull away from the Longhorns.

Courtney Hayes had 21 points for Centennial, which held Legacy to three points in the fourth quarter. Ashley Klemz produced 14 points and Shannon Brown added 13 points for the Bulldogs.

Breanah Manley had 13 points for Legacy, which also picked up 12 points and 13 rebounds from Latia Matthews. Aubriana Hayes had 11 points and five assists for the Longhorns.

Palo Verde 53, Faith Lutheran 41 — At Palo Verde, Aundrea Perez scored 17 points, and Jasmin Kiley contributed 16 as the

Panthers used a 20-3 third quarter surge to beat the Crusaders.

Kelsey McCourt scored 16 points, and Alex Treadwell added 15 points for Faith Lutheran.

Shadow Ridge 57, Cimarron-Memorial 34 — At Cimarron, the Mustangs got 20 points from Elisha Hensey and cruised past the Spartans.

Sabriya Brooks added 16 points for Shadow Ridge.

Tyler Simpson had 10 points and Leilani Blanco supplied nine for Cimarron.

Needles 59, Lincoln County 47 — At Panaca, Gena Chavira scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help the Mustangs defeat Lincoln County.

Alex Chandler and Miranda Brackett each added 15 points for Needles.

Marissa Smerek scored 25 points to pace the Lynx.

Pahranagat Valley 55, Indian Springs 18 — At Alamo, Halie Lewis scored 18 points as the Panthers completed an undefeated Class 1A Southern League campaign by waxing the Thunderbirds.

Dakota Day added 15 points and 14 rebounds for Pahranagat Valley.

Alexxa Reinke led Indian Springs with seven points.

Boulder City 47, Lake Mead 28 — At Boulder City, Karlee Koopman had 10 points to lead Boulder City past Lake Mead.

Taylor Badua-Kono led the Eagles with eight points.

Henderson International 59, Adelson School 24 — At Henderson International, Lauren Mushkin had 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Wolverines past the Lions.

Kerry Chang scored 11 points, and Brittany Huff added 10 for Henderson.

Sueleika Blackwell led Adelson School with 10 points.
