Outlook: Agassi Prep returns nearly all of its starters from a team that finished third in the Southern League last season.

Expectations are high for the Stars as they get back standout Kobe Williams, who a first team all-league selection at running back and second team at defensive back.

Robert Blake will take on an increased role on the line with the loss of Wa’t Manor. Blake, a first team all-league defensive lineman, will anchor the line on both sides of the ball.

The Stars look to challenge Mountain View, which has been atop the league for the last few seasons.

“With the high number of returning Stars on both offense and defense, one goal is to show great improvement from the 6-4 record from last season,” coach Ben Fermon said. “The other is to advance past the first round of the playoffs and overcome the adversity that we faced last season.”
